00:00Hello, good morning. Here's your latest weather update from the Met Office. We're starting the
00:03new working week on a fine note across the southeast of the UK. There's some bright weather
00:07around to start Monday morning. We're out towards the north and west. Outbreaks of rain are working
00:11their way southeastwards, eventually reaching the southeast of England by the latter stages of the
00:14morning, followed on by much sunnier skies with some showers towards the northwest. Those showers
00:20are quite blustery across the west of Scotland. It's a pretty mild day, particularly towards the
00:24south and southeast. Temperatures here into the low to mid-teens Celsius, peaking at 14,
00:29even 15 degrees in the London area. 15 is 59 in Fahrenheit, but a bit cooler and quite blustery,
00:35as I say, towards the northwest. As we go into the evening and during the overnight period,
00:39outbreaks of rain continue their way eastwards across Scotland and Northern Ireland to a fairly
00:44damp picture across the north of the UK. Further south, it's mostly fine. A fair bit of cloud
00:49around, but one or two cloud breaks and some drizzle reaching the west of Wales by the morning
00:53on Tuesday. No problems temperature-wise. It's a frost-free night, temperatures no lower than
00:58five or six Celsius. Six there is 43 in Fahrenheit. As for Tuesday, more wet and windy weather will
01:04move southeastwards across many northern parts of the UK, pushing south across Scotland and
01:08Northern Ireland, reaching the north of England by the end of the day. Whereas towards the south
01:12and east, it's a fine picture here, mostly dry but quite cloudy with one or two bright spells
01:17and plenty of blustery showers pushing in across the northwest later on in the day.
01:22Temperatures are pretty mild still, particularly towards the southeast. Here
01:25we'll see highs of 12 to 14 Celsius, near average towards the northwest at 9 or 10 degrees.
01:31That's pretty much it for me, but of course you can keep tuned to The Meteorologist's Forecast
