00:00Hello, good morning. Quite a cloudy start but much drier across the south and south-east
00:06though we are also saying goodbye to those blue skies in northern areas. On the whole
00:10it is going to be quite a cloudy and drab day for many of us, plenty of cloud across
00:15England and Wales. In Scotland, overall cloudy but in the far north seeing a few more of
00:20those brighter spells today and perhaps later across the south-east. Now it is going to
00:24be largely dry, we may see some spots of rain and drizzle across hilly areas and also it's
00:29going to feel a little bit milder today as well, particularly across the south and south-east,
00:33highs of around 17 to 18 Celsius. A change is on its way into this evening though, it
00:40is gradually going to turn more and more unsettled. We are going to see some showers, some longer
00:44spells of rain move their way towards northern areas of the country. This could be heavy
00:48at times. In the far north of Scotland, once again holding on to the drier weather, some
00:53clear spells, so overall a colder night here and across the south-east too perhaps seeing
00:58some clearer skies but otherwise a fairly cloudy and damp night on offer. And that leads
01:03us into a largely unsettled day on Wednesday too. Showers, longer spells of rain, these
01:08are going to be heavy at times, perhaps hearing the odd rumble of thunder, so do take care
01:12if you are out and about as this could lead to some travel disruption. Once again there
01:17could be some drier, brighter weather, mainly across the far south-east and overall it is
01:22going to be a much warmer day on offer too. Highs of 19, perhaps even 20 Celsius depending
01:27on how much the cloud breaks up across the south-east. Now is it going to remain unsettled
01:33for the rest of the week? Well we do have some frontal systems moving their way in from
01:37the west. It's probably going to be largely dry on Thursday and then we've got this next
01:41area of rain pushing its way into the west later on in the week. A little bit of uncertainty
01:46as to how quickly that's going to move through but notice the squeeze in the Isobars too,
01:51so a chance we could see some mild, wet and windy weather towards the end of the week.
01:56For more details on the week ahead you can catch Alex's video which is currently out
01:59on YouTube. Otherwise that's it from me, bye for now.
