00:00Hello, there. Welcome to your weather forecast from The Metaphyst. We're looking ahead to
00:04the new working week. For most of us, it should be mostly dry and settled with some spells
00:08of sunshine. But towards the north, we will see some rain and cloud at times and that's
00:13really how we're going to end the weekend. We've got this weather front across Northern
00:15Ireland and Scotland. It will weaken as we finish the weekend as high pressure really
00:20begins to dominate proceedings across the British Isles. But from time to time, weather
00:24fronts will just try to come in across Scotland and Northern Ireland, just bringing in some
00:28further outbreaks of rain from time to time. Back to Sunday and you can see this weather
00:34front across Scotland and Northern Ireland, probably the most persistent rain over towards
00:38eastern and central Scotland. The very far north of Scotland, Shetland, Orkney and the
00:42Western Isles, actually here we'll see some sunshine and maybe very later on in the afternoon
00:46also for the far north of Northern Ireland. But really, the best of sunshine this afternoon
00:51will be across England and Wales and in the sunshine highs of 21 to 22 degrees. But please
00:57do note high UV levels if you are out and about. Into the evening, continuation of the
01:03cloud and some outbreaks of rain for Scotland and Northern Ireland. But the rain will continue
01:07to weaken and probably become a little bit more restricted to eastern Scotland by the
01:11end of the night. Towards England and Wales, we will see some low cloud just moving in
01:15across eastern England, maybe also the odd shower. Where the clearest of skies over towards
01:21Wales and the Midlands will allow another chilly night. Could see lows as low as one
01:25or two degrees in a few spots. So as we start the new working week, the best of the sunshine
01:30will be out towards many western parts of the UK where further east you are, the risk
01:35of some low cloud coming in off the North Sea. The low cloud could be quite stubborn
01:40to clear really, east Anglia. So it could be quite disappointing in some spots as we
01:43move through the day. But it should begin to cheer up, especially for eastern Scotland
01:47and becoming a little bit drier here, especially compared to today. In the sunshine, feeling
01:53warm once again, could see highs reaching 23 or 24 degrees down towards Wales and the Midlands.
02:00And then looking ahead to the week ahead, very little changes actually. Most of us are
02:03seeing a mostly dry and sunny week. A little bit of rain as I mentioned from time to time
02:08across Scotland and Northern Ireland. But in any sunshine it will feel quite warm. Potentially
02:13by Thursday we could see highs reaching the mid-20s in the south. But you can find out
02:17more about the weather for the week ahead on our website or on our social media channels.
02:22But that's all from me for now. Take care and I'll see you again soon.
