00:00Hello, there. Welcome to your weather update from the Metaverse. Well, as we go through
00:03the next few days, for most of us, we should see some dry and settled weather, not initially
00:08across Scotland and Northern Ireland. We still have this weather front which will bring some
00:12rain over the next 24 hours or so. But that will weaken as this area of high pressure
00:16really starts to dominate across the U.K. as we go into early next week. By Wednesday,
00:21we may well just start to see this next spell of rain begin to move in across parts of Scotland
00:26and Northern Ireland. But all the time, I think England and Wales remain in dry and
00:30settled. Back to Saturday evening, you can see the weather front across Scotland and
00:34Northern Ireland giving a fairly wet night here. The rain also turning quite heavy in
00:38places especially across the mountains of Scotland. But all the time, across England
00:42and Wales, largely clear skies. Could just see some low cloud from time to time across
00:46the east. But under the clear skies, actually turning quite chilly for the time of year.
00:50Could see lows as low as 1 or 2 degrees across some prone spots of Wales and the Midlands.
00:56But the compensation will be across England and Wales that we'll get off to a fine start
00:59on Sunday and really a lot of England and Wales seeing water wall sunshine. Any low
01:04cloud across the east will quickly burn away as the morning goes on. So really a fine day
01:09on the Sunday. For Scotland and Northern Ireland, however, remaining quite cloudy. The rain will
01:14weaken as the afternoon goes on. So I'm hopeful by the end of the afternoon, parts of Western
01:19Scotland, Northern Scotland and the far north of Northern Ireland, hopefully we'll see some
01:23sunshine. In the sunshine it will feel quite warm, especially down towards England and
01:28Wales. Could see highs reaching 21 or 22 degrees. But please take note that the sunshine is
01:33quite strong this time of year. Could even see UV levels as high as 8 down towards south-western
01:39England. So if you are out and about, please do take some precautions. Even further north
01:44across Scotland and Northern Ireland, despite the cloudy skies here, UV levels are still
01:47moderate as we go through Sunday. Into the evening, a fine end to the weekend really
01:53for England and Wales. The rain will continue on and off throughout the night across eastern
01:58Scotland. But further west across Northern Ireland, we should start to see some clearing
02:02skies and towards the very end of the night could just also see some showers just affecting
02:06the very far north of Scotland. Under the clear skies across England and Wales, once
02:10again another chilly night for the time of year. But that really sets us up for a quiet
02:16start to the new working week. Lots of sunshine around, especially across western parts of
02:21the UK. Even eastern Scotland will start to see conditions improve as the day goes on.
02:26So hopefully after a bit of a miserable start, we should see some sunshine as the afternoon
02:31moves through. A little bit of a breeze off the North Sea will just temper the temperatures
02:36somewhat across the east. But further west in the sunshine, actually feeling very warm.
02:41Could even see temperatures approaching the mid-20s across parts of Wales and the Midlands.
02:44Certainly making it the warmest day of the year so far. But you can find out more about
02:49the weather for the next few days on our social media channels or on our website. But that's
02:54all from me for now. Take care and I'll see you again soon.
