00:08As for the weekend, well, a bit of a mishmash with low pressure up to the northwest and high pressure down to the south.
00:14And in between, another set of weather fronts that will bring a bit more cloud and rain across northern areas.
00:19So, yes, a mixture this weekend.
00:21There will be at times some sunshine, but there will also be a fair few showers.
00:26Let's rewind the clock and come back to Friday evening because we've seen lots of showers across the country during Friday.
00:33This weather front in particular, bringing some heavy ones crossing northern England and Scotland, but heading out into the North Sea.
00:39So most places turning drier during the evening and for many to be a dry start to Saturday.
00:45Temperatures will drop down maybe to single figures in some rural locations, but most of us starting at 10 or 11 Celsius.
00:52And most of us will start the weekend dry and bright, quite a bit of sunshine around on Saturday morning.
00:57Still some showers across the Highlands and the Western Isles.
01:01But as I say, for most, it's dry and bright.
01:04We are going to see that set of weather fronts that we saw earlier, just bringing more clouds to northern islands, introducing more showery rain here.
01:10We'll see more showers developing across initially western Scotland, but spreading perhaps one or two to parts of southern and eastern Scotland by the afternoon.
01:18Showers are also possible across western England and Wales, but I think for most places across England and Wales and eastern Scotland,
01:26it'll be dry for most of the day with some spells of sunshine at times.
01:29And it'll feel a bit warmer than Friday with temperatures ticking up into the high teens, maybe squeaking up to 20 across east Anglia and the southeast.
01:38As the cloud increases across western Scotland and northern Ireland with a brisk breeze, it's going to feel quite cool here at just 14 or 15.
01:45And if anything, the rain will become more persistent over western parts of Scotland during Saturday evening.
01:51So fairly soggy here if you're heading out.
01:53Otherwise, it's a largely dry and fine evening.
01:56Just be prepared for those temperatures to be dropping away.
02:00The cloud will increase through the night across northwest England, northern Ireland and make for quite a grey day here on Sunday.
02:06Parts of western north Wales also fairly drab with at times some rain on and off here.
02:12Northwest England, southwest Scotland, again, rain at times for the far northwest of Scotland and also northern Ireland seeing showers.
02:19But again, much of the south and east closer to the high pressure will stay largely dry.
02:24Yes, there'll be a fair bit of cloud around, but with some sunshine across east Anglia and the southeast, temperatures getting into the low 20s,
02:30maybe even the mid 20s, that'll feel quite warm.
02:33Whereas elsewhere, again, with more cloud further north and west only into the mid to high teens at best.
02:40So on the cool side and the outlook is for things to stay fairly cool and showery as we head into next week.
