00:00Hello again, lovely day for a pedalo on a lake, beautiful spells of sunshine across
00:05much of England and Wales, cloudier conditions I think for Scotland and Northern Ireland
00:09and that cloud also spilling into parts of Northern England where there could be the
00:14odd shower over the Pennines and more especially some showers developing during the afternoon
00:18across Sapodina, Angus, Perth and Kinross but elsewhere it's simply dry. It's bright,
00:25skies do brighten even in the north but the best of the sunshine will be in the south,
00:2824 Celsius in Cardiff, 25 in London, 20 for Glasgow, 18 for Belfast so a bit cooler and
00:34then teens there for the far north of Scotland with the thicker cloud around coasts and hills
00:41of the north and north-west. Showers continue for a time in the east of Scotland, perhaps
00:45over the hills of Northern England but eventually they disappear overnight and actually the
00:49cloud thins and breaks across Northern England, central and eastern Scotland whilst thicker
00:54and lower cloud arrives into the north-west of Scotland. A freshening breeze here, some
00:58spots of rain and drizzle towards the north-west but clear spells further south. Despite the
01:02clear spells actually, it's a warmer night with temperatures in places holding up at
01:0713 or 14 Celsius. Then we start off Wednesday with plenty of sunshine across England and
01:12Wales, eastern Scotland as well seeing sunnier skies compared with the start of Tuesday.
01:17Still some thicker cloud for western Scotland, Northern Ireland as well and some spots of
01:21light rain and drizzle around western coasts and hills. A fresh breeze blowing for the
01:27northern isles, the Outer Hebrides as well, 12 to 15 Celsius here but a warmer day to
01:31come for the east of Scotland, north-east England given that we'll have lost the cloud
01:36and we'll have lost a cool breeze so 24 Celsius possible in Aberdeen but even higher temperatures
01:41further south, 26 for Cardiff, 28 for London. Now through Wednesday evening the cloud continues
01:48to affect western Scotland, Northern Ireland as well but elsewhere clear spells and for
01:54most it is a dry night. There will be some dampness towards the far north and north-west
01:59as weather fronts just tickle the far north of the UK but these weather fronts make a
02:04bigger push towards the country during Friday. Ahead of them, the air turns more unstable
02:10so even as temperatures rise on Thursday, we could see some heavy showers developing
02:14in the south and more widely on Friday as well and then the weather much more unsettled
02:19and cooler on Saturday and Sunday.
