00:00Hello again. Yet another frosty start to Tuesday, quite widely. However, there will be a lot
00:06of sunshine around first thing. Scattering of showers will develop, especially in the
00:11west into the afternoon. But there will also be some showers on Monday night into Northern
00:16Ireland and Western Scotland as well, seeing one or two showers. Here, the cloud cover
00:21and further south-west, some cloud and some patches of fog developing will keep things
00:26a bit more patchy as far as frost is concerned. Widespread frost expected further north and
00:32east, minus one to minus two in Tanzan cities, as low as minus eight Celsius in sheltered
00:37parts of Northern England and Central Scotland. Despite the chill, it's a largely dry and
00:43bright start to Tuesday with high pressure in charge. These weather fronts are weakening
00:47as they approach the UK and that high pressure has built in on top of unusually chilly air
00:54that's arrived from the Arctic at the end of last week. And so, it is a cold start to
00:59Tuesday, but it's a bright start. Plenty of sunshine for Scotland, for Northern and Eastern
01:04England, a bit more cloud further west. Once any fog lifts, the cloud will continue to
01:09build and it will build enough to give some sharp showers in places, especially Northern
01:14England and Northern Ireland, one or two over Wales and Southern England as well. But in
01:19between, plenty of sunny skies, the best of which, I think, Northern Scotland and Eastern
01:24England. With light winds, in that increasingly strong sunshine, well it will feel reasonably
01:32warm. Temperatures nudging up day by day at the moment, eleven to thirteen, perhaps fourteen
01:37Celsius somewhere in the south east if we get enough sunshine. The showers then eventually
01:43easing away on Tuesday night. We'll see clear spells quite widely once again and under those
01:49clear skies, frost and fog forming. The fog most likely in the west, Northern Ireland,
01:54parts of Wales and South West England. The frost most likely further north and east.
01:59But where some cloud hangs about, of course, that will keep temperatures above zero. So,
02:05a patchy frost in places as we start off Wednesday, but where we do get a frost, it will be cold
02:10again as we start off the day. Plenty of sunshine though, Scotland, much of central and eastern
02:16parts of the UK. Fog lingering in one or two spots further west, but it will eventually
02:21lift and then, once again, the cloud will bubble up and we'll see those hit and miss
02:25showers forming, especially Northern Ireland, western parts of England, as well as South
02:30West Scotland and Wales. It's further east where we'll see mostly dry weather and some
02:35sunshine and those temperatures are continuing to very slowly climb, typically eleven to
02:42perhaps fourteen Celsius on Wednesday. The warm spots most likely to be Northern Ireland
02:48and those temperatures will continue to rise ever so slowly later this week. The showers
02:52eventually die down and there will be some sunny spells by day as well. A full week ahead
02:57forecast is on the Met Office YouTube channel. That's all from me for now. Bye bye.
