00:00Hello again. We ended last week with cold northerly winds but a lot of bright skies.
00:07We start this week with warmer southerly winds but with a lot of cloud and some showers rotating
00:14around this area of low pressure. That's what's driving our weather during the next couple
00:17of days. And these features will put rain into parts of Northern Ireland, Wales, perhaps
00:25the Midlands, Central England as well as Western Scotland through the day. Mostly these are
00:29showers. There'll be some heavy bursts at times as well and a lot of cloud around but
00:34some brighter spells, some sunshine coming through and where that happens, temperatures
00:37up into the high teens. Feeling cooler along that east coast because of the wind coming
00:43in from the North Sea and that will be bouncing around to give some quite blustery weather
00:48for parts of Wales, North West England and Northern Ireland. Heading into the evening
00:53however, the showers to the west will continue to push north, merging into longer spells
00:58of rain for a time, especially across central and eastern parts of Scotland. And then some
01:03drier weather for a while but eventually overnight further showers push in from the south, perhaps
01:10even some thunderstorms for Wales and the South West. And it's a mild night for all
01:14of us, a mild start to the day for Tuesday. 11 Celsius in the south, 6 Celsius further
01:20north. Wet weather clearing the far north of Scotland for the start of Tuesday. Further
01:24showery rain pushing north into Northern England, central and southern Scotland, Northern
01:29Ireland as well. And that, well, expands back into parts of the south east, so East Anglia
01:35in the south east. But some brighter skies for Western England, for Wales as well. That
01:39only helping to spark off a few more heavy downpours, perhaps the odd thunderstorm as
01:44well. 15 to 17 Celsius in the south, 10 to 13 further north but where we get some brighter
01:51skies, somewhere like Bristol to Perthshire we could see 18 or 19 Celsius. Into Tuesday
01:57evening and the rain in the east of England pushes into the North Sea. Showers elsewhere
02:03tending to push into central England and longer spells of rain clearing from the north of
02:07Scotland. And really we keep a lot of cloud cover so it's another mild night. And then
02:12temperatures rise further on Wednesday and Thursday. In some places we could see 20 or
02:1621 Celsius. We'll keep you updated as always on social media but that's all from me for now.
