00:00Hi there, turning more humid over the next couple of days with some rain in places, although
00:04not necessarily in those areas where we are desperately in need of some wet weather, for
00:09example the South East. Having said that, it will be a largely cloudy afternoon across
00:13East Anglia and the South East, with humidity levels picking up. There will be the odd shower,
00:18but for many it's still going to stay dry here. Plenty of sunshine elsewhere, although
00:23the cloud thickening for Northern Ireland, outbreaks of rain moving in here during the
00:27afternoon and that reaching the western fringe of Scotland by the end of the afternoon. Otherwise
00:32where we've got the sunny spells, well, temperatures up into the low to mid-twenties and twenty-eight
00:38Celsius possible there towards the South East. Twenty in Belfast with those outbreaks of
00:42rain arriving and the breeze picking up. And the rain then spreads into much of Scotland,
00:48Northern England as well as parts of Wales overnight. It will be heavy and persistent
00:53over western hills, more ragged elsewhere and a few spots of rain reaching South Wales,
00:59perhaps the odd drizzly spot there for the South West of England as well. But the South
01:04East corner once again avoiding the rain and staying dry. Clear spells here, all areas
01:09see the breeze picking up and that breeze is coming from the South West, so it's going
01:12to be a muggy night, sixteen to eighteen Celsius across the board. And this warmth, this plume
01:20of humidity spreads across the UK, a warm sector in between a warm front and a cold
01:25front for Tuesday. And these fronts again bringing spells of rain, heavy and persistent
01:31for parts of Northern England and North West Wales first thing. The rain mainly affecting
01:35central parts of the country. A damp and gloomy start to the day for Scotland and Northern
01:39Ireland but things dry up and brighten up here apart from a few showers in the far North
01:43West. It will be a blustery day for many with the breeze coming in from the South West and
01:47that will bring a lot of cloud for Wales and the South West, the cloud covering the
01:51hills and some drizzle here as well. But really nothing substantial in terms of rain amounts
01:58for the South and staying dry once again in the far South East where it will be sunny
02:02but increasingly humid and feeling hot with temperatures reaching thirty Celsius. Twenty-one
02:08to twenty-five Celsius generally elsewhere, some warmth there for the East of Scotland
02:12once skies brighten up. But really into Tuesday night we keep the cloud, we keep the breeze,
02:19we keep that humid air flow and so it's another muggy night with some spots of rain in Northern
02:24Western parts of the country but again nothing significant on the horizon. From Wednesday
02:30onwards high pressure starts to move in and that means things will turn more settled once
02:36again and it will turn a bit cooler as well.
