00:00Hi there, plenty of bright blue skies for many of us today with long spells of sunshine
00:06inland mainly and towards the south east. There will still be further showers into the
00:10north and the west and under clear skies inland tonight it will be another chilly one. You
00:15can see where the showers are distributed for this afternoon, northern Scotland predominantly,
00:20northern parts of Northern Ireland, a few more feeding into these Irish Sea coasts,
00:24Wales, Devon and Cornwall. One or two showers elsewhere couldn't be ruled out, south east
00:29Scotland for example, but for many we'll see plenty of sunny skies and in large parts
00:34of the country no showers at all. Light winds in the south feeling pleasant enough in the
00:38sunshine with temperatures reaching 13 Celsius, but further north with that brisk breeze particularly
00:45for northern Scotland, northern Ireland through these coastal western areas it will feel quite
00:49fresh in that wind. Now overnight the showers inland tend to die away but a batch of showers
00:57will push through these north sea coasts affecting north east England for a time, further showers
01:01into northern Scotland, northern Ireland and then a stream of showers developing as the
01:05winds converge through the Irish Sea. This is often called a Pembrokeshire dangler and
01:10that will also affect parts of Cornwall perhaps, but otherwise clear spells inland, temperatures
01:16falling away, mist and fog patches possible for the Midlands, south east England for example
01:21and a touch of frost for many inland with temperatures in some sheltered spots down
01:25to minus one Celsius. As cold feed of air continues on Wednesday, slight change in wind
01:30direction will bring more showers into the east and for central parts, but otherwise
01:35a roughly similar day with showers mostly affecting coastal parts of the north and the
01:40west, so west Wales, Cornwall, northern Ireland, northern parts of Scotland, but an increased
01:45chance there for the east of England along with a brisk breeze here it will feel on the
01:49cold side though, showers reaching east Anglia, east Midlands, south east perhaps by the afternoon.
01:55Away from the showers, again inland predominantly dry and bright with some sunshine, a bit more
02:02cloud there across central and south eastern I think compared to Tuesday. Twelve Celsius
02:07in the south, nine to eleven further north, feeling cold in the wind and then the showers
02:12inland once again ease away on Wednesday night, fairly widespread frost once again for many
02:18of us as we wake up Thursday and the fine weather continues on Thursday for many with
02:24sunny spells inland, a few more coastal showers before a thicker cloud arrives on Friday.
