00:00Hello, very good day to you. It's not going to be as wet as it was yesterday, but nonetheless
00:05there is still quite a bit of wet weather around, particularly across northern parts
00:08today and that could still cause some further issues, all due to the area of low pressure
00:13that pushed in yesterday lingering across northern parts as we go through the rest of
00:18this week. It is filling and the rain is easing, but like I said we could still see some further
00:23issues as a result of the wet weather. But across southern areas today it's actually
00:27looking largely dry. The air is a bit dry and so I'm not expecting a repeat of the heavy
00:32thunderstorms we saw developing yesterday. And there should be some sunny breaks developing,
00:37especially across parts of the southeast, but elsewhere across many areas it is going
00:42to be pretty cloudy and there will be some outbreaks of rain. Not as persistent, not
00:47as torrential as yesterday, but some heavier bursts are still possible. There could be
00:52some travel disruption, a bit more flooding perhaps as well. With the cloudy, the wet
00:56and for some of us blustery weather, it's going to feel quite unpleasant, quite cool
01:01for some of us. In fact, temperatures in some places will stay in single figures. A different
01:05story though towards the south-southeast where we get some sunshine, lighter winds here,
01:09it is going to feel markedly warmer. Temperatures just about getting into the low 20 Celsius.
01:16Not a huge amount of changes as we go through this evening and overnight, staying with the
01:19north-south split if you want. Clearer skies towards southern areas, cloudier across many
01:25other parts and further outbreaks of rain and still some blustery winds. Because of
01:29the cloud, the rain, the blustery winds, temperatures for many not dropping a huge amount, generally
01:34staying in double figures. Perhaps something a little bit chillier where we get any clear
01:38skies towards western parts of Scotland and also some clear skies towards southern-southeastern
01:43parts of England could lead to a bit of a fresher, chillier start here on Friday morning.
01:48Otherwise, as we go through Friday, it looks fairly similar to today really. Again, northern
01:53areas likely to be cloudier, further outbreaks of rain. Generally, like I said, it is easing
01:58compared to today and yesterday, but some heavier bursts, some heavier showers are quite
02:04possible. In the south, a drier story again, but one or two showers may pep up as we go
02:10into the afternoon. Looking at our temperatures, and they don't look too dissimilar to today,
02:15but in the south it may be a touch fresher, 19 possibly scraping 20 Celsius, but further
02:21north I think it will start to feel a little bit warmer. Temperatures rising a few degrees,
02:26so feeling a little bit more pleasant compared to today and also compared to yesterday. More
02:31showery outbreaks across northern parts as we go through Friday night into Saturday,
02:35drier further south, and then Saturday itself may actually get off to a largely fine start.
02:40It could be a bit chilly and it's probably going to be the driest day of the weekend
02:44for most of us, with a good chance of seeing some sunshine around. Before then, some rain
02:49pushes its way in in time for Sunday, and this could turn quite heavy, could see some
02:52further impacts in association with this. Monday, well Bank Holiday Monday is causing
02:56us a few headaches at the moment, a bit uncertain, but at the moment it looks like the wettest
03:00weather will be towards more eastern parts and further west, you have a greater chance
03:04of seeing some decent dry weather. But Annie will be around on our YouTube channel this
03:09afternoon with the weekend forecast, so do check that out if you have plans for the long
03:13weekend. I'll see you again soon. Bye bye.
