00:00Hello, very good day to you. As we head into the weekend and start of meteorological summer,
00:05there's going to be plenty of fine weather around because high pressure has been building
00:09from the west and this high is going to dominate the weather across many parts as we go through
00:14the end of the week and into the weekend. That being said, we do currently have a front
00:19lying across parts of the southeast and this has brought quite a bit of cloud and some
00:23outbreaks of rain earlier today. Most of it's going to be clearing away, but some heavy,
00:28possibly even thundery showers are quite possible as we go through the second half
00:33of today. Elsewhere, a brighter picture, a largely dry story across many other areas
00:38of England, Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland, though some showery outbreaks perhaps pushing
00:43into the far north of Scotland with some thicker cloud here. There will be a bit of a breeze
00:48around so that might make it feel a little bit fresher than these temperatures suggest.
00:52Nonetheless, most places getting into the mid to high teens, some places low twenties
00:56perhaps where we get any decent sunshine, but towards the southeast with a thicker cloud
01:01and some stronger blustery winds here, it is going to feel markedly fresher. As we go
01:06through the end of the day, we are going to see any showery rain across parts of the southeast
01:10clearing away, so turning dry here. However, across Scotland, we are likely to see a few
01:15more outbreaks of rain at times, though none of these looking particularly heavy. A bit
01:19of a west east split when it comes to cloud amounts in the east. We're going to see a
01:23bit more cloud feeding its way in as we go through the night, whereas further west you
01:28have a greater chance of seeing some clearer skies. So a few possible outbreaks of rain
01:33where the clouds thick enough across some parts of Northern Ireland where we get some
01:37clear skies, it may turn a little bit fresh temperatures just about dropping into single
01:41figures perhaps, but not an especially chilly start to the day on Saturday morning as we
01:46go through Saturday itself. Then, yes, largely bright across western areas, a bit cloudier
01:51towards the east and there may be the odd bit of drizzly rain around, but most of that
01:55will clear away. And in fact, across parts of East Anglia, the southeast, it should brighten
01:59up as we go into the afternoon. Meanwhile, across parts of Northern England, maybe central
02:04England as well, I'm expecting the cloud to build and we could see a couple of showers
02:09bubbling up across parts of Wales and parts of England too. But any showers that do develop
02:13are going to be short lived, pretty light, and most of us are going to avoid them. Across
02:18Scotland and Northern Ireland, any overnight rain will clear away. And so it is looking
02:22largely dry with some decent bright or sunny spells. We are going to see some sunshine
02:27around across many areas and in the sunshine. Again, it's going to feel warm, perhaps even
02:31a little bit warmer than today. Temperatures up a degree or so, and the winds will have
02:35eased. So the breeze dropping out for most places, still a bit of a breeze across parts
02:39of the southeast, but not as blustery as today. So feeling fairly warm for most of us. A fairly
02:44decent evening as we go through the end of the day on Saturday, starting to see some
02:49thicker cloud making its way in from the northwest. And this could bring a bit of rain as we go
02:53through Saturday night into Sunday, but otherwise a largely dry picture. And where we get some
02:59clear skies, there may be a few pockets of mist and fog first thing Sunday morning. Otherwise,
03:04as we go through Sunday itself and it's a decent dry, sunny picture, in fact, more sunshine
03:08on offer for the bulk of England and Wales compared to today and Saturday. A different
03:13story further northwest, though. Across parts of Scotland, we'll see some rain pushing its
03:17way in, some thicker cloud here, and the winds may start to pick up towards the northwest
03:21of Scotland as well. And across Northern Ireland, Northern England, some thicker cloud, mostly
03:25dry, but some thicker cloud here. Where we see the sunny skies, temperatures higher than
03:30earlier on in the weekend. So 22, 23, perhaps. Whereas further north and west, it is going
03:35to start to feel a bit fresher as that cloud and that rain makes its way in. There's a
03:40bit more changeable weather to come as we go through next week. Make sure you stay up
03:43to date by subscribing to our YouTube channel. Bye bye.
