00:00Hello there, welcome to your Wednesday morning forecast. Now the details as we

00:04head through the day, it remains wet across much of Scotland, the rain pushing

00:08in across Northern Ireland in the far north of England as we head through the

00:12afternoon and there's a rain warning in force across the central, swathe and

00:15western part of Scotland. The rain will be relentless here. Showery bursts coming

00:20in across Orkney but you can see a slither of sunshine to start the day

00:23across Caithness as well as Aberdeenshire. Drier skies across much of

00:26Northern Ireland but the rain never too far away. Some patchy rain across Pennine

00:30districts. West Wales seeing a few showers but inland you'll see some hazy

00:34sunshine during the morning. So let's just backtrack to 5 a.m. you can see

00:38where the rain is pushing in from. It trails back to the Atlantic, hence the

00:42reason why you'll see so much wet weather across these parts through the

00:45day. Elsewhere a few showers will develop across England and Wales but still some

00:48sunshine coming through as this rain sinks down towards Northern Ireland, the

00:52far north of England, clearing the central belt through rush hour but

00:55showers continue with a blustery breeze across northern and western parts of

00:59Scotland. Now overnight tonight and into the early hours of the morning you can

01:03see where the rain is. It returns to western Scotland, sinks down across

01:06northern counts of England, more clouds and some drizzly bits and pieces for

01:09Wales. Drier towards the southeast, chilly to start the day on Thursday

01:13towards the northeast of Scotland but again you'll see some brighter weather

01:16and then this massive cloud and rain and wind arrives through Thursday morning,

01:21pushes ever northwards and also eastwards. The rain turns a bit patchy

01:26across northern England. Wales though having a bit of a dull day with some

01:30outbreaks of rain but brighter skies yet again across the Midlands, eastern

01:33counts of England down towards the southeast. See you later.
