00:00Hello, a good deal of cloud with us over the next few days and through much of the weekend

00:05with rather changeable weather on the cards. Let's start by looking at this evening and

00:10overnight. This weather front sitting across central parts of the UK bringing a lot of

00:15cloud with some outbreaks of rain, occasionally some heavy bursts within that band of rain,

00:21although we will see a few clearer spells either side, particularly across some far

00:25eastern areas. It will be a breezy night and with all that cloud it won't be a cold one,

00:30temperatures well above average for this time of year. So moving into Friday then, still

00:36a good deal of cloud across much of the country, further outbreaks of rain at times and another

00:40weather front starting to edge its way northwards across the country as the day progresses.

00:46Again there could be some heavy downpours at times associated with this weather front,

00:51meanwhile turning brighter but with some showers following on behind from the south-west.

00:57Again it will be a fairly mild day with this southerly feed of air but quite a brisk wind

01:02so just taking the edge off those temperatures. It's more of the same as we continue through

01:08the latter part of Friday and overnight, so still a good deal of cloud around, still breezy

01:13conditions and further outbreaks of showery rain at times. Again some of those could be

01:18on the heavy side but once again temperatures are holding up fairly well underneath all that cloud

01:23and with those breezy conditions. So that brings us into the start of the weekend and it will be

01:29a mixture of some bright spells, quite a few showers around to start the day on Saturday.

01:34Again some of those will be really quite heavy at times, particularly so across the northern

01:39half of the country on Saturday. Meanwhile the showers starting to fade away from the south

01:45so a better chance of seeing some lengthier sunnier spells before the next weather system

01:50starts to push in from the south-west towards the end of the day on Saturday. Temperature wise

01:56again above average for this time of year but again quite breezy conditions but with a little

02:01bit of brightness it shouldn't feel too bad if you are planning to get outside on Saturday.

02:06And that may be a good idea because it's all downhill for the second part of the weekend.

02:11Sunday is looking very wet and windy indeed before turning a little bit quieter on Monday.
