00:00Hello again. It's been a rather windy weekend for many of us and there have been some showers
00:04or periods of rain in some parts of the country. The low pressure system responsible for the
00:08unsettled weather at the weekend is now moving away to the north, allowing pressure to build
00:13from the south and also allowing much warmer conditions to move up from the near continent
00:17through the middle part of the week. We could see even 17 Celsius in South East England
00:22on Wednesday, but for most of us a cooler and wetter period of weather through the middle
00:26part of the week, before pressure builds once again bringing a much more settled end to the
00:30week. Some showers around at first on Sunday evening, but these mostly clearing away to the
00:35east as we go into the early hours of Monday morning, but further showers or longer spells
00:39of rain affecting Northern Ireland and western parts of Scotland and still quite windy here,
00:44but for most of us the winds easing with some fairly lengthy dry and clear periods through
00:48the night and that will allow temperatures to dip quite close to freezing in a few rural spots,
00:52giving a touch of frost and the odd patch of fog here and there. That means a sunny start to the
00:58day though for many places on Monday. A cloudier zone though for Northern Ireland, central and
01:03southern parts of Scotland. Outbreaks of rain moving into northernmost parts of England as
01:07well here and still quite breezy, but for most of us some sunshine developing. One or two isolated
01:13showers in southernmost counties of England, but not as heavy as they were on Sunday afternoon,
01:17and in the best of the sunshine we'll see highs of 14 Celsius. It stays quite showery into Monday
01:23evening across Scotland and northern parts of England, but for most parts of the UK a
01:28drier period of weather with some clear periods. That's just about it for now, but to keep up to
01:33date with the forecast and for more details make sure you follow us on our social media channels,
