00:00Hello there, it's a rather windy and unsettled day out there today with bright or sunny intervals
00:05for many places but also a fair number of showers for many of us. It's all down to this area of low
00:10pressure though that drifts away and fills as we go through tonight allowing pressure to build
00:14across the UK as we go into Monday. Back to Sunday afternoon then we've got a fair number of scattered
00:19showers across the UK, some slightly cloudy conditions across the south east of England
00:24with showery outbreaks of rain here, some heavy showers in places particularly towards Wales and
00:29the south west with the odd rumble of thunder, a little bit of hail mixed in as well possible here
00:33but in the sunshine temperatures of 13 or 14 celsius so slightly above average for the time
00:38of year but there will be a keen breeze quite windy in the west with some gales around irish
00:42sea coasts at first. Through tonight more showers come back in across northern Ireland
00:47leading to longer spells of rain here also western parts of Scotland seeing a fairly wet end to the
00:52night but for most of us a drier and clearer night to come tonight, temperatures falling
00:56low enough to give a touch of frost particularly down towards Wales and the south west. Some
01:02sunshine to begin the day in places on Monday but this band of showery rain working its way
01:06in from northern Ireland into western and southern parts of Scotland, northern parts of England
01:11bringing a wetter picture through the afternoon here. A few isolated scattered showers developing
01:16across southern parts of England but lighter than today and given more and aware of sunshine
01:21I think it will feel a bit warmer. Those temperatures continue to rise as we go towards
01:25the middle part of the week particularly across southeastern parts of the UK where we could see 17
01:30celsius locally on Wednesday but a wetter picture elsewhere across the UK midweek before high
01:36pressure builds across the UK to end the week. That's just about it for now but to keep up to
01:41date with the forecast and for more details please make sure you're following us on our
