00:00Hello there and welcome to your latest weather update. Most places will remain dry through the

00:04coming weekend but there is a chance of just one or two showers for some of us and on Saturday

00:09afternoon these are most likely to occur across the Midlands, parts of Wales and the southwest

00:13of England. Perhaps the odd heavier one here and there but for the vast majority it's another dry

00:18day, some bright or sunny spells developing. The best of the sunshine on Saturday afternoon

00:23there across more northern parts of the UK away from the Moray coast and northern parts of

00:27Aberdeenshire. Here it may well stay quite cool, grey and misty as it might do across the northern

00:33isles of Scotland. Through this evening a few showers still for the southwest and a continuing

00:38threat of some showery outbreaks of rain towards the far south overnight into Sunday morning but

00:43the vast majority of the UK dry with clear skies at times some patchy low cloud mist and fog perhaps

00:50towards northeastern coasts but in the west and the north temperatures falling low enough in the

00:54countryside perhaps to give the odd touch of frost here and there. Some showers to clear away from

01:00the southwest of England at first on Sunday but actually most places in the south having a dry and

01:05sunnier picture on Sunday compared to Saturday still the threat of one or two isolated showers

01:10here and there but further north and east still that threat of some low cloud keeping those eastern

01:15coasts a bit cooler with some grey skies at times. Temperatures still reaching 18 or 19 though in the

01:21best of the sunshine towards the southwest. High pressure will maintain the mostly dry and settled

01:26theme as we go through the coming week one or two showers at times perhaps on Monday in the south

01:32but overall those cool northeasterly winds continuing maintain that risk of overnight

01:36frost particularly in the north and west and temperatures a little bit suppressed by day as well.
