00:00Hello again and welcome to your latest weather update. It's set to remain dry for most of us
00:04through the rest of this weekend but there is a chance of one or two showers here and there.
00:09And high pressure will be dominating through much of the coming week, centred to the north of the
00:13UK and that maintains this north-eastly flow and quite cool conditions for the time of year,
00:18particularly overnight when there is a chance of overnight frost so gardeners take note.
00:24Back to Saturday evening and there's quite a lot of cloud around out there across England and Wales.
00:28A chance of some showery outbreaks of rain across more southern areas as well
00:32but skies will clear through the early hours particularly towards northern and western parts
00:35of the UK and it's here where temperatures could fall low enough in the countryside
00:39to give a touch of frost in a few places. Still quite misty and murky around some north-eastern
00:44coasts of Scotland and north-east England as well but temperatures on the coast holding above
00:49freezing. Some showery outbreaks of rain at first on Sunday across the south-west,
00:54these clearing away and then many places will actually see more in the way of sunshine on
00:58Sunday compared to Saturday particularly if you live in England and Wales but one or two showers
01:03breaking out potentially by the afternoon in northern England and still some bright or sunny
01:07skies at times across Scotland and Northern Ireland. In the best of the sunshine highs of
01:1218 or 19 but it's still quite cool on those eastern coasts. A few showers continue into
01:17the evening but the vast majority will have a dry end to the weekend with lengthy clear spells.
01:24For further details you can always follow us on our social media channels
01:27but for now have a lovely rest of the weekend.
