00:00Hello, feeling very pleasant out there today and today perhaps being one of the warmest
00:04days of the year so far.
00:07So the current satellite picture shows a good deal of clear skies right the way across the
00:12country, so an ample supply of spring sunshine for many of us. And that theme continues throughout
00:17this afternoon, although rather breezy, especially across parts of the southwest and the west
00:23and some of those winds quite gusty.
00:25A warm day with temperatures reaching into the high teens the further west you are, although
00:30feeling cooler across eastern areas with that wind off of the North Sea.
00:36Now a dry night tonight with clear skies for many areas, although clouds just starting
00:41to fringe into parts of the southwest and eventually Northern Ireland during the second
00:46half of the night. Overnight temperatures dipping into low single figures, but given
00:51the strength of that wind, frost being held at bay for many of us.
00:56So another dry and fine day for most people tomorrow, although a little bit more on the
01:00way of cloud across parts of eastern Scotland. And during the course of the afternoon, outbreaks
01:04of cloud and showery rain perhaps just moving into parts of East Anglia. A cooler day tomorrow
01:10with temperatures only rising up to 11 or 12 in the south and 10 further north.
01:17And looking at the outlook period, so high pressure stays in charge throughout next week,
01:22so good to the dry and fine weather to come, although a little bit more in the way of cloud
01:26and temperatures recovering midweek.
01:29Thank you for listening and please check our social media channels for the latest updates.
01:33Bye for now.
