00:00Hello. Temperatures reach 20 degrees in the north-west Saturday afternoon, but a dramatic
00:05change is expected next week as high pressure declines and the wind veers round to originate
00:11from the north. And by the end of the week, temperatures will be back into single figures
00:15and there will also be a risk of snow on some hills.
00:18So back to Saturday evening, so largely dry, although cloud will start to spill in across
00:23eastern areas during the second half of the night. Temperatures down into single figures
00:28and where we do see clear skies, there is a risk of a touch of frost in a few places.
00:34So a cloudy start across eastern areas tomorrow morning and some of that cloud spedding further
00:38westwards, although tend to lift and break up during the morning, so sunny spells developing.
00:46Temperatures down on what they were on Saturday with highs of around 18 for England and Wales
00:52and 18 for parts of Scotland, although temperatures disappointing where that cloud lingers all
00:57day in the east. And that cloudy conditions will continue across eastern areas overnight
01:03Sunday with clear skies across parts of northern England and Scotland.
