00:00Hello there. A cool and rather showery theme to end the merry month of May, but as we move
00:07into June there is just the hint that temperatures may recover a little, especially towards the
00:12end of next week. But back to the here and now. So we have high pressure to the north
00:16and west of the UK and that is feeding a pool of cooler air across the country. And that
00:22cooler air is associated with a fair amount of cloud and overnight tonight that cloud
00:27will try and push westwards across some areas, although there are some decent breaks in that
00:33cloud and where we do see those decent breaks, temperatures dipping into mid-single figures,
00:39although some rural spots seeing temperatures slightly lower, so a bit of a chilly night
00:42to come for many of us. So Sunday is a much cloudier day right the way across the country
00:49with some showers moving south across North Sea coastal areas and during the course of
00:55the late morning and early afternoon, those showers becoming a little bit more widespread
01:00especially across the south. Temperatures generally a little bit disappointing down
01:05on the values we saw on Saturday, around 2 to 3 degrees cooler with highs of 17 across
01:10the south. And Sunday evening that showery theme continues, although those showers tending
01:17to ease back and die as the sun goes down, so turning a little bit drier overnight. And
01:24looking at the outlook period, so remaining unsettled with low pressure in the vicinity
01:29of the UK as we move into the new week. So a fair amount of cloud and rain in the mix
01:35and temperatures generally disappointing but recovering later. Thank you for listening
