00:00Hello there. Breezy through the next 24 hours with rain or showers but some
00:05brighter dry weather towards the southeast particularly through Thursday
00:09morning. So let's first of all look at Wednesday evening. A rash of showers
00:13across Scotland, a keen breeze here, rain for Shetland. Showers further south will
00:18fade away, some clearer skies but temperatures holding up with that breeze
00:22and then more cloud arrives across Northern Ireland through the early hours
00:26of the morning as that rain pulses in, eventually eclipses more southwestern
00:30areas of Scotland as well as Glasgow. Temperatures then will holding up in the
00:35south but for the Cairngorms as well as Aberdeenshire down to around four to
00:39seven degrees Celsius. Yet here you will have a bright start although it will be
00:43rather windy. Now for anywhere across more northern areas of Scotland as well
00:47as the Western Isles, that's Caithness, Sutherland, Ross and Cromarty, you'll see
00:51a rash of showers through the morning. That rain extends towards Perth for a
00:55time and then it will decline as rain continues across Northern Ireland,
00:58Northern England as well as the north of Wales. To the south of that though more
01:03clouds across the West Country exposed to that southwest wind, even some drizzly
01:07bits and pieces over the moors but further east some brighter skies and
01:11some sunshine but the cloud will slowly thicken across the Midlands through the
01:14day. At the same time we'll see some bright new skies across Northern Ireland,
01:18a keen breeze here, one or two showers and showers will merge together through
01:22the day across Scotland. So the risk of thunder towards the north, a strong wind
01:26here but later on some brighter skies for the central belt as well as the far
01:30north of England, southern parts of Scotland as the rain continues anywhere
01:34from South Yorkshire, Greater Manchester, Derbyshire, Conway, Flint as well as
01:39Gwynedd. Further south to that yes you'll see more in the way of cloud but
01:42brighter skies towards the southeast and that's where the highest temperatures
01:45will be coming around to 22 degrees Celsius. Through the evening and
01:48overnight that weakening band of clouds continues its passage southwards with
01:53some clearer skies behind it. Showers yet again will feed in across the north, the
01:57west central parts of Scotland and there will be heavy with a strong wind here
02:02and that wind will be a feature of the weather through Friday across central
02:06and northern areas of Scotland feeding in those showers through the day.
02:09Elsewhere a much better day to come. Yes you'll see some sunshine, the winds will
02:13be lighter, you'll see temperatures rise quite nicely to the mid to high teens
02:17even the low 20s towards the southeast. Now this is the outlook through Friday
02:23and into the weekend. It's a chilly morning on Saturday, clear skies even a
02:28touch of grass frost but it will be a fine day, a fair day with some lovely
02:33sunshine. Then through Saturday night and into Sunday notice the winds will pick up
02:38across more eastern areas. This wind will deliver some showers, the chance of
02:42showers elsewhere, best the weather possibly in the west but always more in
02:46the way of clouds. Bye bye.
