00:00Hello there. Now, your forecast for the next few days looks like this. It's drying up and
00:04warming up from the south. The wind slowly will ease and we'll gain some sunshine. So
00:09by the weekend, high pressure firmly in charge with some lovely sunny and bright weather.
00:14But for the time being, some sharp showers clearing eastern counties of England. A drier
00:18night all round across England and Wales, even Northern Ireland, but showers continue
00:22to feed in on a keen breeze across western and northern parts of Scotland. In the countryside,
00:27temperatures will dip down to around four degrees Celsius across Scotland, five or
00:31six Celsius further south across England and Wales. So a chilly start to the day come
00:35Thursday morning, but it will be bright with some sunshine. Some sunshine certainly for
00:39the eastern side of Scotland, but further west, you can see showers never too far away,
00:44certainly for the northern isles and the western isles, and they'll gather and pick up some
00:48momentum as they merge to form a longer spell of rain through the day. A mostly dry start
00:52for Northern Ireland. More in the way of clouds here, but look at this across England and
00:55Wales. It's fine, dry, some lovely sunshine coming through. And not a lot of change through
01:01the day. Yes, the cloud will build somewhat. Most places across the south, though, will
01:04remain dry. Now for Scotland, you can see that cloud and rain just moving in. The wind's
01:09picking up some strength. And through the morning, we'll see some showers develop across
01:13Northern Ireland. Always more in the way of cloud just developing across southern Scotland
01:17and northern England, where here, just a chance of a shower through the day. Eastern Scotland
01:21seeing a fine morning, but through the afternoon, the cloud will thicken somewhat here. It will
01:25be a wet end to the day for western and central Scotland, with a keen breeze. And a few showers
01:29can't be ruled out across Wales, as well as the west midlands. Many areas, though, seeing
01:33a fine end to the day on Thursday across England and Wales, with still a bit of a breeze in
01:38the air, but even so, some warmth as well. Temperatures typically 17 to 20 degrees Celsius
01:43fresher in the northwest. But things will eventually improve here. Possibly not the
01:48case on Friday. Still breezy in the north, and some showery rain will clip the north
01:52and the west of Scotland. Brighter skies across England and Wales, and temperatures
01:56reflecting that coming in at 17 to 22 degrees Celsius. Even warmer into the weekend, and
02:01the reason why. Well, Friday, you can see these fronts skirting the northern portion
02:06of Scotland. Wind's still quite strong. But then, through Saturday, high pressure builds
02:11from the south. Those oranges migrating their way northwards. But notice towards the southeast
02:15on Sunday, there's a chance of some showers here on Sunday. But even so, still very warm
02:21as temperatures in the southeast reach around 24 degrees Celsius. Further north, we'll see
02:25around 18 to 22. So, a warm end to the weekend. But watch out for those showers in the southeast.
02:30Obviously, we'll keep you posted here at the Met Office.
