00:00Hello, hot sunshine and a few thunderstorms.
00:04That is the forecast again for Tuesday.
00:06Torrential downpours in places during Monday,
00:09fading as we go through the evening,
00:11but still causing some disruption.
00:13For most, it'll be a dry night with clear skies.
00:16Might turn a little misty in places,
00:18certainly likely to be fairly misty over the Northern Isles
00:20into Tuesday morning.
00:22A little bit cooler in the east, but certainly in the west,
00:26a pretty warm and humid night, with temperatures
00:28staying in the mid, in some locations, even high teens.
00:32So, not a cold start to Tuesday.
00:34For most, it will be a sunny start,
00:36any mist and fog clearing away.
00:38Likely to still be one or two showers knocking around,
00:40so they'll continue to fade, and most will be dry.
00:43But during the day, heat and humidity building once more
00:47in the far west, the western half of Northern Ireland,
00:50western parts of Scotland, so in this zone.
00:53A few, but heavy, potentially torrential downpours
00:57are likely, and the Met Office does have warnings in place.
01:01Not everywhere in the warning area we'll see the downpours,
01:04but where they do occur, a lot of rain falling
01:06in a short space of time could cause some disruption,
01:08a lot of spray, surface water on the roads,
01:10the potential for flooding.
01:12For the vast majority, though, it's a dry, fine,
01:14sunny, very warm summer's day,
01:17with temperatures in the mid to high 20s.
01:19In the south, getting up to 30 Celsius in some locations.
01:23A warmer feel in the southwest, probably because
01:26there should be a bit more sunshine here compared to Monday.
01:29A little cooler again on some eastern coast,
01:31but nowhere near as cool as it was last week.
01:34Just pretty pleasant in that sunshine, I suspect.
01:36Any of those thundery downpours in the northwest
01:38should fade during Tuesday evening,
01:41but most will be dry and clear as we head into Wednesday.
01:44Increasing chance of seeing some mist and low cloud
01:47around North Sea coast.
01:48Some high could return to eastern Scotland.
01:51We'll probably burn back to the coast during Wednesday.
01:55Again, the small chance of a shower or two
01:57in the far northwest, but the vast majority,
01:59just blue skies through Wednesday.
02:01Slightly cooler, slightly less humid air moving in,
02:06so temperatures just a degree or so down,
02:08but still well above average for the time of year.
02:10Still very warm in the south, 26, 27, maybe 28 Celsius.
02:13That east coast will be, again, a little bit cooler.
02:17And that's how we go into Wednesday evening,
02:19a balmy evening for most.
02:21Very pleasant indeed,
02:22plenty of summer sunshine on offer yet again,
02:25and more of that to come,
02:27in fact, through the rest of this week.
02:29Again, temperatures just dipping a little bit,
02:32but staying in the very warm category.
02:34Lots of sunshine, UV levels though
02:36are going to be very high through this week.
02:38And apart from one or two very isolated heavy showers,
02:41the vast majority look like staying dry.
