00:00Hello there. Welcome to your weather update from the Met Office. The next few days are
00:04looking very warm, dry with some strong sunshine. However, through Tuesday evening, a weather
00:11warning remains in force across the northwestern side of Scotland and the western portion of
00:16Northern Ireland. It's thunderstorms we're most concerned with, with the risk of some
00:20large hail, gusty winds, thunder and lightning. But that risk diminishes through into the
00:24early hours of the morning. A bit of a breeze along the east coast here, but inland and
00:29towards the west. Again, a muggy night. Temperatures holding around 16 or 17 degrees Celsius.
00:37So for some, it will feel uncomfortable. However, Wednesday morning dawns bright with some warm
00:42sunshine. Any clouds along this eastern strip here will tend to break up and burn back.
00:48And you can see a little more cloud down towards the far southwest of England. Elsewhere, lots
00:53of strong sunshine through the day. UV levels will be high and we'll see some very high
00:58levels of grass pollen anywhere from southern Scotland across England and Wales. And high
01:03for Northern Ireland and the rest of Scotland. But as you can see, not a lot of change through
01:07the afternoon. A small chance of an isolated shower over the highlands of Scotland. Look
01:12at these temperatures coming in. At their very best, I'd say 27 to 29 degrees Celsius.
01:17And pleasantly warm along the east coast. Now through Wednesday evening, it's pretty
01:21much a repeat performance. With some light breezes, we could see some shallow mist and
01:26fog patches. Perhaps more cloud just moves in across eastern counties of England towards
01:31borders through into Thursday morning. But yet again, it's going to be a mild night.
01:38Temperatures perhaps a notch down on the last few nights. But certainly a warm start to
01:41the day come Thursday morning. This cloud here will again break up and burn back. So
01:47a fine day all round with again, lots of sunshine and blue sky. Most places will be dry as temperatures
01:55yet again rise comfortably to the mid-twenties. Perhaps slightly higher than that. And along
02:00this east coast, you'll see slightly higher temperatures than what you've seen over the
02:03last few days. Here's your outlook through Friday. An increasing chance of some thundery
02:09showers towards the far west. And that risk increases further through the weekend. This
02:15low pressure system slowly nudges in, casting an influence across the UK. High pressure
02:21sits towards Scandinavia. But as you can see here, the chance of some thundery showers
02:26across many parts of the country through Saturday and into Sunday. Again, though, there'll be
02:30some strong sunshine around and temperatures on the very warm side.
