00:00Hello there. A good deal of dry and settled weather to come over the coming days, although
00:05it is rather cloudy, but that cloud is going to actually help to keep overnight frosts
00:09at bay, so there is some good news in the weather forecast.
00:13We have high pressure centred across the UK at the moment, and during the course of Sunday
00:17that high pressure will move in ever so slightly further eastwards, allowing a cold front into
00:22parts of western Scotland. Back to this evening, so a fair amount of
00:26cloud right the way across the country, although that cloud breaking up here and there, and
00:30where that cloud does break up, overnight temperatures falling away quite quickly, allowing
00:35for a touch of frost here and there. Overnight lows generally staying above zero, but when
00:40we do get those clear skies, temperatures dropping just below freezing, so a frost in
00:44a few more rural locations. So another cloudy day right the way across
00:49the country during the course of Sunday, although as we saw during the course of Saturday, that
00:54cloud breaking up here and there, allowing some brightness or some sunny spells to develop
00:58during the course of the afternoon, especially to the lee of any high ground. Temperatures
01:05tomorrow generally around average for late January, with highs of around 7 or 8 across
01:10the south, and maybe just grazing is to double figures across the very far north of Scotland.
01:18And moving into Sunday evening, so another cloudy evening, again that cloud breaking
01:23up here and there, allowing some clearer spells overnight, allowing for a touch of
01:27frost and fog in a few locations. Further north across Scotland, that cloud thick enough
01:33to give some rain. And looking at Monday, so the settled picture
01:36continues into the new working week, with a good deal of cloud around right the way
01:40across the country. Thank you for listening, and please check
01:44our social media channels for the latest updates. Bye for now.
