00:00Hello and welcome to a sunny national weather forecast. A cracking day on Saturday if you
00:05like sunny skies. Plenty of blue sky up and down the land thanks to high pressure. Now
00:10the breeze will be a bit more noticeable. Notice the ice bars just cuddling up together
00:14there across the south and across parts of the north as well. So we will see a more noticeable
00:20breeze on Saturday. But where the winds are lightest overnight across parts of north east
00:24England that's where we're most likely to see a bit of mist and fog forming as we head
00:28through the early hours of Saturday morning. Elsewhere enough of a breeze to stop that
00:33mist and fog and also that breeze will stop the temperatures falling too far. I mean it'll
00:37still be pretty chilly on Saturday morning at three or four degrees in towns and cities
00:42but most of us should be free from frost. But plenty of sunshine to come then on Saturday.
00:48We will start with that mist and a bit of low cloud over parts of north east England
00:52but it should tend to melt away and then wow just look at that. Sunny skies pretty much
00:58from top to bottom across the UK. Lots of blue sky around. There will be more of a breeze
01:04compared to Friday across England and Wales. So that will perhaps make it feel a little
01:08cooler than Friday but temperatures will still be well above average inland in the sunshine
01:1414 15 16 17 maybe in Cardiff and Glasgow. That breeze there will be more noticeable
01:20on the east coast. Even here temperature above average but feeling a little fresher in 11
01:25or 12 compared to Friday's values. The top temperature actually likely to be across the
01:31highlands of Scotland where we could easily get to 19 or possibly squeak up to 20 Celsius
01:36for the first time this year. During Saturday evening temperatures will fall away quite
01:42sharply so bear that in mind. If you're heading out it will turn pretty fresh as the sun drops
01:47in the sky and will keep a fairly brisk breeze going across parts of the south. A bit more
01:52in the way of mist and fog likely to form as we head into Sunday morning and slightly
01:57colder start as well with maybe some more pockets of frost here and there. Sunday is
02:01a slightly different day certainly across eastern areas we are going to see more cloud.
02:05The possibility of a few showers over East Anglia maybe even the far southeast but generally
02:11it's still a dry and a fine day. A bit more cloud pushing into the west of Northern Ireland.
02:16Still there are plenty of sunny spells. In the west certainly Wales southwest England
02:20the winds a little lighter on Sunday but overall it will be a cooler day. Cooler air
02:25is moving in so temperatures even in the sunshine not as high even though we could still get
02:30to 15 in Glasgow maybe 17 across the highlands. Generally looking at 12 13 and only single
02:36figures across the east certainly feeling colder with the increased cloud across parts
02:40of East Anglia. So just a comparison there with Sunday to Saturday. Saturday definitely
02:46the warmer day of the two. By Sunday temperatures still above average but back closer to average
02:52and certainly feeling a lot fresher on those North Sea coasts with just single figures
02:56here. But plenty of fine dry bright weather to be had through the course of this weekend.
