00:00Hello there, it's another fine day across the south with plenty of sunny spells this afternoon,
00:05but further north skies are looking a bit cloudier with some frequent showers.
00:10Those showers will be heavy at times across Scotland, Northern Ireland and parts of Northern England,
00:15but it will be much less windy than it was yesterday.
00:18Across the south it's staying dry, lots of sunny spells and highs of 23 degrees in the southeast.
00:24Through this evening showers will gradually fade away across the north,
00:27so it will be a dry night for many of us.
00:29There's some clear spells around and temperatures will fall away under the clearer skies
00:33to give a chilly night in some rural spots with lows of 4 or 5 degrees.
00:37But in towns and cities, many places staying in high single figures or double digits.
00:42Come Monday morning, plenty of sunshine in the south.
00:45As we head into the afternoon, cloud will start to bubble up
00:48and it's generally a cloudier day across the north as well.
00:51Despite the cloud, it will stay dry for most places.
00:54Scotland and parts of Northern Ireland might see a few light spots of rain, mainly over the hills.
00:58The best of the sunshine on Monday will be in southwest England.
01:02As we head through the rest of the new week, high pressure is largely in charge,
01:06so a lot of dry weather to come.
01:08Also, temperatures will be building in the south as we drag in some warm air from the continent.
01:13So by Friday we could see temperatures in excess of 30 degrees
01:17and it's looking pretty warm for a lot of the UK.
