Transcript
00:00Hello there. There's a yellow thunderstorm warning in force tonight across parts of southern England and Wales.
00:06That's because we've got some heavy showers pushing up this evening from France.
00:10They'll move into southern counties of England and Wales tonight.
00:13Locally, we'll see some frequent lightning and some hail as well.
00:17Further north, it does stay quite cloudy and we'll continue to see some outbreaks of showers and rain.
00:22Temperatures sticking in double figures tonight, so a mild night for all.
00:26A cloudy start come Monday morning and the thunderstorms in the south will gradually ease.
00:30As we head through Monday afternoon, it stays cloudy across Scotland and northern England
00:35and we'll continue to see some outbreaks of rain.
00:37Elsewhere, the skies will start to brighten ever so slightly and in the warm sunshine we'll see highs of 23 degrees.
00:43Mixed in with the sunny spells, there will still be some heavy showers on the cards,
00:47particularly across parts of the Midlands and Northern Ireland as well.
00:50Locally, we could still see a few rumbles of thunder.
00:53Into Monday evening, it looks like quite a quiet picture for most and it's turning much drier.
00:57Through the start of next week, low pressure tries to push weather fronts into the west
01:01where we will see some heavy rain.
01:03Further east, we hang on to that high pressure and temperatures could reach the mid to high 20s on Tuesday.
01:08By Wednesday, that rain will have spread across most parts of the country
01:11and will still bring a risk of thunderstorms.
01:13Stay up to date with the latest on our Facebook, Twitter and YouTube channels.
