00:00Hello, welcome to your evening weather forecast from the Met Office. It's been a mixed picture
00:05wherever you've been across the UK with outbreaks of rain, or some people have seen some sunny
00:10spells. Through the rest of this evening, cloud and rain is going to continue to push
00:14its way northwards, affecting much of Wales, but generally fizzling out as we go through
00:18the night, holding on to cloudy conditions across Northern Ireland and Scotland with
00:22some heavier outbreaks of rain affecting northern parts of Scotland. But there will be some
00:27clearer spells in between, where we see the clearest spells, we see some low cloud, mist
00:32and murk, but with a lot of cloud around, temperatures are generally going to be holding
00:36up with temperatures around 11 or even 12 degrees. Through bank holiday Monday then,
00:43it starts off a rather cloudy note, a lot of low cloud generally lifting and breaking,
00:49but showers still affecting north-western parts of Scotland, turning a little bit drier
00:54across Northern Ireland, but cloudy here. We have got outbreaks of rain affecting southeastern
00:59areas, could be heavy at times, but in between that we will see some sunny spells, but also
01:05some showers breaking out and some of these could be on the heavy side. So temperatures
01:10are generally going to be around average underneath any cloudier conditions and rain, but where
01:15we see some sunny breaks, that's where the temperatures will rise and we could see highs
01:19of 18 or 19 degrees, so hopefully feeling pleasant if you do miss one of those showers.
01:25As we go through the rest of Monday evening, the showers are generally going to start fading
01:30away, that cloud and outbreaks of rain across the south-east of England should generally
01:34move its way south, with many places seeing a largely dry night, but still quite a lot
01:41of cloud around. And then temperatures still staying rather above freezing, so many places
01:48holding up around 11 or 10 degrees, but in the rural spots we could see it turn a little
01:54bit chilly under the clearest skies. So generally most places seeing a largely dry start to
02:00Tuesday, some bright spells, especially across Northern Ireland and across East Anglia and
02:05across the south-east, but there is still quite a lot of cloud around, especially across
02:09north-eastern coasts on Tuesday, could linger here for a time. Where we see the sunshine,
02:15again, showers could break out, but not as heavy as what we'll see on Monday and not
02:20as frequent either, so many places seeing a largely dry picture. Temperatures then generally
02:26still around average, but feeling warm where we see the sunshine, highs of 19, possibly
02:3120 degrees. As we go through the latter half of the week, we should see higher pressures
02:36starting to build, so that will bring settled conditions, also temperatures rising, but

02:44I'll catch you soon. Bye bye.
