00:00Hello, we've got further spells of heavy rain in the forecast that could lead to some disruption
00:05and some flooding impacts as well. Through this evening, heavy spells of rain are going
00:09to be pushing their way north and eastwards, affecting much of southern parts of England,
00:14into Wales, into the Midlands and towards the far south-east as we start Monday morning.
00:20Still some strong winds out there, especially along the English Channel and then running
00:25up to East Anglia. Lighter winds to the far north, but still largely cloudy conditions
00:31here, perhaps just seeing some glimmers of sunshine to start the day on Monday morning
00:36across northern parts of Scotland. But there is a lot of cloud around, so that will keep
00:42temperatures up generally 10 or 11 degrees to start Monday. But it is going to be quite
00:48a gloomy start on Monday, especially across England and much of Wales, with heavy spells
00:53of rain that will gradually push its way northwards. And we have further rain warnings
00:57in force for areas that have already seen a significant amount of rainfall this month.
01:02So expect some difficult driving conditions, some spray on the roads, but even some possible
01:07flooding impacts expected. Further towards the south, it will turn a little bit drier,
01:13still rather cloudy, but perhaps just some glimmers of sunshine towards the far south-west.
01:18A messy picture across parts of Scotland and Northern Ireland, generally still staying
01:22largely cloudy, but we'll see a few showery outbreaks of rain here, but generally lighter
01:28winds. So it's going to be feeling quite unpleasant underneath the areas of persistent rainfall
01:33across the central swathes of the UK. So chillier here, but further towards the south, we may
01:39get up to 17 or possibly 18 degrees. So as we go through Monday evening, low pressure
01:46will gradually clear its way towards the east, but still some heavy spells of rain
01:50persisting, especially across the Midlands, parts of Yorkshire and into East Anglia as
01:55that low pressure clears its way eastwards. Further towards the north and west, we'll
02:00start to see some clear skies to start Tuesday morning. Still a few showers around, but generally
02:06lighter winds, especially across the southwest. Otherwise, temperatures generally holding
02:11up 10 or 11 degrees, but across parts of Scotland underneath the clearest skies, perhaps
02:16just dropping a touch lower here. So to start Tuesday morning, still we've got some outbreaks
02:22of rain, especially across the southeast of England. But we also have a keen breeze coming
02:28down that northeast coast, so cloudy conditions here and feeling quite chilly. But further
02:33towards the west, we will start seeing some brighter skies developing through Tuesday
02:38afternoon, with some sunny spells. Still a few showers around, but a lot drier than
02:44recent days. Highs of up to possibly 17 or 18 degrees, but underneath the brisk wind
02:50across the north and east, it is going to be feeling rather cool here. Now, as we look
02:56ahead to the midweek, it is going to see there is going to be signs of higher pressure building
03:02that will give some drier and brighter conditions, but also lead in to some quite chilly nights
03:08to come. But if you want more details on the forecast where you are, make sure to hit subscribe
