00:00Hello there. Welcome to your weather update from the Met Office. We have three types of
00:04weather through the next few days. Warm sunshine, which will trigger some showers, particularly
00:09in the south, and in between, a weather front. It's fairly weak, not a lot of forcing on
00:13it, although we do have low pressure sitting towards the southwest of the UK. And this
00:17weather front will be with us into Thursday, as well as Friday. Cloud and also some patchy
00:22rain. In fact, that's how we see this evening, Tuesday evening, rain across western and central
00:27parts of Scotland, and also across eastern counties. And after a dry evening across
00:32the Midlands and the south-east, you'll see more wet weather arrive later. Showers churn
00:36round the west country there, with a bit of a breeze, but some clearer skies for Northern
00:40Ireland, south-west Scotland, as well as north-west England. Also, a mostly dry night for Wales,
00:46away from perhaps the far north-east. Temperatures holding up 11, 12 degrees Celsius, and a clear
00:51start to the day across Shetland, with some sunshine and also a keen wind. Now, through
00:57the morning, after a bright morning across southern Scotland and Northern Ireland, you'll
01:00see more cloud, some patchy rain, particularly across Pennine District, Lincolnshire seeing
01:05some rain, and the rain just comes and goes across east Anglia. We'll see some showers
01:09develop just to the south of this weather front, north Wales, the Midlands as well,
01:13and a few showers further south. So, a mix of sunshine, hazy sunshine at that, and also
01:19this cloud and some patchy rain, which, as I said, will fade from time to time. But temperatures
01:24in the sunshine, 20, 21 degrees Celsius, feeling warm, particularly across western Scotland.
01:29Now, through Wednesday evening and overnight, this cloud still is with us, and again, that
01:34rain just comes and goes, pushing yet again towards southern Scotland, covering much of
01:38northern England, and it's a little bit showery. To the south, we could actually see some mist
01:42and fog patches forming with a light wind, and a bright morning into Thursday, yet again
01:47across northern and northeastern areas with a breeze. Now, through Thursday, you can see
01:52where this rain is, but to the south of this, we'll see the cloud build, and also some showers,
01:58and these showers could turn heavy with the risk of thunder. Some warm sunshine across
02:02much of central and northern areas of Scotland, and yet again, temperatures coming in around
02:0719 to 21 degrees Celsius. See you later.
