00:00Hello, there. Welcome to your latest weather update from the Met Office. Well, as we go
00:04through the end of Sunday and into the early part of next week, it does remain unsettled
00:09across the country. It's all courtesy of this area of low pressure. It's not really going
00:13to go very far during the rest of Sunday. It does start to move off towards the continent
00:17as we move into Monday, but then that starts to allow another weather system to begin to
00:22move in as we go towards Tuesday. So, for the rest of Sunday afternoon, main bulk of
00:28the country is going to be fairly grey and damp. The main line of rain really will be
00:32from parts of East Anglia into the Midlands, Northern England and the parts of Northern
00:37Ireland. But elsewhere, a good deal of cloud around. Exceptions, the very far north-west
00:42of Scotland, there will be some brightness here and also down towards Devon and Cornwall.
00:45We will see some sunny spells develop, but that in turn will then start to allow a few
00:50sharp showers to form. Temperature-wise, in the brightness down towards the south-west,
00:55we will see highs reaching around 11-12 degrees. But elsewhere, temperatures really struggling
01:00for the time of year, especially along the eastern coast of the United Kingdom. We will
01:05see temperatures only reaching around 4-5 degrees in a few spots. In fact, that brisk
01:11breeze really is going to feel fairly disappointing. Into the evening, this area of rain will continue
01:17to track its way a little bit further westwards. It does start to weaken as it does so, and
01:21really, as we go through into the first part of Monday morning, it's going to be a fairly
01:26grey and murky picture. But with the cloud cover, it's going to be fairly frost-free
01:30across the country. Overnight lows, for most of us, not falling much lower than around
01:355-7 degrees. Could just fall down to about 4 degrees up across the very far north of
01:39Scotland and in any clearer skies, still lingering down towards Devon and Cornwall, could just
01:44see lows around 3-4 degrees. So, chilly where we do see any clearer skies overnight, but
01:49for most of us, it's a fairly mild start to the new working week, but fairly grey. Still
01:53some bits and pieces of rain around. The main focus of the rain tomorrow will be across
01:57parts of western Scotland, Northern Ireland, and maybe at times just moving into the far
02:03east of East Anglia. But for most, sunshine really is going to be at a premium. Best of
02:08it again down towards Devon and Cornwall. Channel Islands also not doing too badly,
02:12but for most of us, really, it's going to be a fairly grey afternoon. Temperature wise,
02:17a little bit less cold compared to Sunday, but again, down towards the southwest, we'll
02:21see the highest of the temperatures here, 11-12 degrees once again. Well, if you want
02:27more information about the weather where you are, you can always check out our app or our
02:30website and don't forget to follow us on YouTube. But that's all from me for now. Take care
