00:00After a bright Sunday, Monday is looking much cloudier with some outbreaks of rain and some
00:06snow for northern regions too. However, it will turn a bit brighter by the afternoon
00:11for some of us. On Sunday evening, clear spells mean it will be a chilly start to the night
00:16with some patches of mist and fog developing in the east and an early frost for some rural
00:22spots. By the morning though, we'll feel that much milder, particularly in the west as a
00:28band of cloud and rain arrives from the Atlantic. That band of cloud and rain will push eastwards
00:33through the morning, bringing outbreaks of rain with it. As it's falling into colder
00:38air across northern Scotland, it will bring some snow as well to the northern hills of
00:43England. Throughout the afternoon, we'll see that rain clear to the east and sunny spells
00:50develop. However, there will be some blustery showers too, feeling a little bit more pleasant
00:56in the sunshine, but if you do catch one of those showers, it won't feel very pleasant
01:00at all. There could be a mixture of hail in there too, as well as some further snow flurries
01:07to northern Scotland. Into the evening, drier in southern and eastern areas where it will
01:13turn chilly once again. Looking ahead to Tuesday, impactful weather is expected. Storm Barrow
01:20will arrive, bringing strong winds and snow to northern parts of the UK. There are multiple
01:25warnings in force, so make sure you keep up to date with the forecast and follow us
