00:00Hello, there'll be more downpours to dodge through the next few days, but by Saturday
00:05it's going to be a much drier picture for many of us. The unsettled picture through
00:10this week has been down to this air of low pressure that by Saturday will finally push
00:15off to the east of the UK. But before then, on Wednesday evening, that low pressure is
00:21going to push in showers from the southwest into parts of Wales and the West Country through
00:27the first part of the night. Into the early hours, the southeast will start to see some
00:31of those showers, as well as eastern parts of Scotland where there's a warning in force
00:35for heavy rain. Temperatures will be in the mid-teens once again, so another fairly mild
00:41night for the time of year, though it will be quite a windy night across the southwest.
00:47On Thursday morning, where that warning is in force for eastern parts of Scotland, surface
00:52water impacts could lead to travel disruption to some of us. It'll be a drier picture for
00:58southern parts of Scotland and northern England to start, but very quickly notice all these
01:02showers starting to break out by the afternoon, and just about anywhere could see a heavy
01:08shower through Thursday, as well as the odd rumble of thunder. Northern Ireland will be
01:13a drier and brighter picture by Thursday afternoon, though. Temperatures will be a little bit
01:19down on Wednesday, so a slightly fresher feel, but still widely in the low twenties
01:24for most of us. On Thursday evening, this area of more persistent rain will push into
01:29northeastern parts of England and much of Scotland as well. There's a continued risk
01:33of some rumbles of thunder in there as well. Drier but quite murky across central and northern
01:38areas of England, with some showers still continuing to clip the south coast. Through
01:43the rest of Friday, showers will break out once again and more persistent rain will affect
01:48more northern areas. Now, Saturday things will settle down and it'll be a drier day
01:53for most of us, but you can find more details on your forecast by taking a look at our social
01:58media channels.
