Transcript
00:00Hello, it's a mixed picture across the country on Monday, cloudy and mild for southern regions
00:07once again, but much colder and brighter too in northern areas. There's some windy weather
00:13to come first of all as an area of low pressure will arrive across northwestern parts on Sunday
00:18evening. That'll swing a system of weather fronts across the UK and they will straddle
00:23the country as we head into Monday, splitting our weather in half. Before then though, cloudy
00:29and mild on Sunday evening for much of the country, but throughout the night it will
00:33turn wetter, particularly across Wales and inter-central parts and northern parts of
00:37England, with outbreaks of rain and drizzle throughout the evening. Further north of this
00:42it will turn clearer and cooler, some showers across western coasts and very windy across
00:48the north coast with warnings in force. To the southeast of this, very mild to start
00:53on Monday morning and will continue that way throughout Monday too. That weather front
00:58will continue to affect parts of Wales and central England, the rain perhaps turning
01:04more persistent. Northern parts of England, southern Scotland and Northern Ireland a good
01:09deal of sunshine through the day, some showers still continuing to affect northwestern Scotland.
01:15Very mild in the southeast still, once again temperatures around 12 or 13 degrees. By Monday
01:22evening that weather front will push slightly further north, bringing more persistent rain
01:26to northern England, continuing to be cooler and clearer further north of that and cloudy
01:31and mild further south. That mild theme will continue for the rest of the week for much
01:35of the country, there will be some further rain at first in the north but by the end
01:39of the week much drier across the board.
