00:00Hi there, further showers are expected in places on Tuesday, but plenty of sunny spells
00:05away from the showers and a cold wind will blow across much of the country. Further showers
00:11to come in the north and west overnight. Most of these restricted coasts, but a few will
00:16creep inland, particularly where they funnel through hills and so on. Away from the showers,
00:22clear spells and with light winds in the south at least, temperatures falling away here,
00:26one to four Celsius on the thermometer first thing Tuesday, perhaps in some shelter spots
00:31a touch of frost and a few mist patches in the south where we've got those light winds
00:37overnight. The mist lifting and plenty of sunshine actually for many during Tuesday
00:42morning, a bright but slightly chilly start to the day. Meanwhile, showers continue in
00:47the north and the west and a few will develop elsewhere. So just about anywhere could see
00:51a shower, but they will be most frequent and heaviest towards the north and the west of
00:55the UK around coasts in particular. We've still got a gusty breeze, but it's less windy
01:01compared to recent days and temperatures will reach nine to 11 in the north, 12 possibly
01:0613 further south. Into Tuesday night and the wind comes from the north, so we're pulling
01:13in this colder air across many parts of the country. Wednesday and Thursday mark the Nadeeran
01:18temperatures this week, with those temperatures dipping below average for the time of year.
01:24So with that northerly wind, we're going to start to see further showers coming into
01:28eastern parts of the country. So on Tuesday night, many inland parts seeing clear spells,
01:34but a few North Sea coasts, western coasts as well, we'll see showers continuing. So
01:39northern and western Scotland, West Wales, Cornwall, as well as some of these eastern
01:44coasts away from the showers. Well, we'll see those temperatures dip again close to
01:48freezing, a touch of air frost or ground frost possible in some sheltered spots and a few
01:53mispatches as well. But for many, it's a bright start to Wednesday, despite the chill
01:57in the air. Further showers are coming into western and eastern coasts through the day.
02:03And once again, it's West Wales, Cornwall, it's these eastern coasts of England, as well
02:07as northern Scotland as well and Northern Ireland, which will be affected by these snow
02:12on the Scottish mountains. It is going to be feeling cold in the wind, but temperatures
02:17reaching 9 to 11 Celsius generally by day. So that's a degree or two lower compared to
02:23Tuesday. Thursday looks similar at first, but the showers will ease away later in the
02:27day to allow some decent sunny spells to appear before it turns more unsettled in the far
02:33north and northwest as we end the week. Follow us on social media, we'll keep you updated
02:38on all the latest. Bye bye.
