00:00Hello again, Storm Corrie is likely to bring some disruptive weather across some parts
00:04of the UK as we move through the next 24 hours. An amber wind warning is in place across northern
00:08parts of Scotland on Sunday night and into the early part of Monday morning. Storm Corrie
00:13then moves away into central parts of Europe as we go into Monday itself, leaving the UK
00:17in a cold north-westerly flow for a time, but this warm front will introduce milder
00:22conditions once again as we move into Tuesday. Taking a closer look at those winds though,
00:27it's northern Scotland that will bear the brunt of the strongest winds, gusts in excess
00:31of 80mph possible in a few exposed spots, but many places within the yellow warning
00:36zone will see gusts of 50-60mph overnight Sunday into Monday morning. We'll see that
00:42rain then moving its way south-eastwards across the country on Sunday night, following behind
00:47plenty of showers moving in from the north-west, with some clearer spells as well at times,
00:52and as the air turns colder we'll see some snow up across the higher ground of Scotland,
00:56covering us now across the higher level routes with a risk of some icy patches. So windy
01:01starts today on Monday morning, particularly in the north and the east, winds slowly easing
01:05through the day, some sunshine around in places particularly in the east, but also a number
01:10of showers, most frequent across the north and the west, and turning increasingly cloudy
01:14later in the afternoon across the far north-west and across Northern Ireland with the risk
01:18of some more persistent rain developing. A pretty chilly day compared to of late, highs
01:24generally in single figures. Through Monday evening it turns increasingly wet across the
01:29north-west with some heavy bursts of rain developing across western Scotland, but staying
01:33largely dry across more eastern and southern parts of England with some clear spells. It
01:38will be a mild but cloudy picture for many places on Tuesday, perhaps the odd patch of
01:42rain here and there, for the best of any sunshine in the east. For all the latest details though,
