00:00Hello. As we go through the start of the week, there will be plenty of winter sunshine on

00:04offer as well as some frost and fog before rain arrives. Taking a look at the bigger

00:09picture and high pressure will dominate our weather through Monday, but will then clear

00:14away towards the east as we go through Tuesday, allowing weather systems to bring a spell

00:18of wet and windy weather to most parts before high pressure builds again from the west as

00:23we go towards the end of the week, leaving things largely settled. Back to Sunday evening

00:28and you can see any lingering clouds and spells of rain across parts of the southeast

00:33will clear away, turning things mostly clear and dry as we go through the night. Under

00:37the clear skies, temperatures will take a bit of a drop even in towns and cities. It's

00:42going to fall close to freezing, but in rural spots it's going to be a couple of degrees

00:46colder than this, with lows of minus four or minus five possible in parts of Northern

00:50Ireland. Monday then getting off to a cold but bright start for many with quite a bit

00:55of frost around. As we go through the day, there'll be plenty of winter sunshine for

00:59most of us, though notice some spells of rain and brisk winds across parts of Shetland.

01:05Temperatures may be down just a nudge compared to what we saw on Sunday, with highs generally

01:09in the high single figures. As we go through Monday evening, there will be further clear

01:14skies. As a result, temperatures will once more drop quite sharply as we go through the

01:19night, allowing for widespread mist and fog to develop. This could be a bit of a problem

01:23on Tuesday morning. A reminder then through the rest of the week, plenty of dry and fine

01:28weather to come. This brings the risk of some frost and fog, with a changeable spell midweek.
