00:00Hi there. Although Storm Eunice has now passed away from the UK, it will be unsettled for
00:06all of us at some point through this weekend. Into Saturday morning we've already seen a
00:10band of rain pass through Northern Ireland and now into areas of Wales and parts of England.
00:16This has been falling as snow across Northern England and will continue to do so as it pushes
00:20eastwards over the course of the day with a yellow snow warning in force here. Across
00:25the southern coast of England, gales will be a feature here, though these strengths
00:29of winds are a touchdown compared to what we saw with Storm Eunice. Across areas of
00:34Scotland it will be a much calmer day with a decent amount of sunshine, though feeling
00:40colder here compared to the milder temperatures underneath the clouds in the south. As we
00:46move into Saturday evening the rain will clear off from the east with a chilly evening for
00:52parts of Scotland, but the clouds and rain will then quickly filter in from the west
00:57reaching all areas by the end of the night. The rain may turn persistent for some western
01:02locations and it will turn increasingly mild as the rain and cloud builds in, reaching
01:08double digits in some locations by the early hours of Sunday. Through Sunday morning the
01:13rain will continue to spread south and eastwards with a band of heavier rain developing through
01:18the day. Blustery showers follow on behind for areas of Scotland, these turning wintry
01:25particularly over high ground. Winds will be a feature for all with gales reaching inland
01:30locations severe across most exposed western parts, remaining mild underneath the cloud
01:36in the south but turning rather cold further north once the main band of rain has cleared
01:41through. With weather warnings in force across all areas over the weekend do make sure to
01:47keep up to date with the forecasts and you can do that by following us on social media.
