00:00Hello there. Saturday marks the spring equilux where day and night are almost identical in
00:06length. And for those of you heading outside to enjoy your 12 hours of daylight, it will
00:11be another day of catching rainbows. We got this wonderful shot in yesterday from Stockingford
00:17in Warwickshire. Wonderful rainbow caught in a shower with a sunny interval just ahead
00:22of it. And there'll be similar opportunities for shots like that as we move throughout
00:26Saturday. Some heavy showers building up across areas of England and Wales, some hail
00:31in the mixture, along with the odd rumble of thunder as well. Some slightly longer spells
00:35of rain and cloudy skies across the far south east, but also this more persistent band moving
00:40across Scotland. The Isle of Man will clear its way off through Northern Ireland later
00:44on in the afternoon, so some brighter intervals developing here. And where you do catch one
00:48of those sunnier intervals, it will feel relatively pleasant. Highs between 12 degrees in Scotland,
00:55putting up to 15 degrees across some central areas of England. As we move into the overnight
01:01period, this band will continue to shift its way eastwards and will provide some slightly
01:05breezy conditions across northern coast of Scotland for a time. Elsewhere, though, those
01:10showers will gradually begin to fade their way off away from the very far south east,
01:14allowing some clearer intervals to develop. I'll just allow temperatures to drop off a bit more.
01:19Towns and city is still holding up in mid single figures, but there is the possibility
01:24that across local parts of Northern Ireland, rural parts of Scotland, we just see a little
01:28frost develop. That does bring the risk of some icy stretches. First thing on Sunday
01:32morning for parts of Scotland, particularly as we see some sleet showers persisting. But
01:36for many of us, it will start off on a dry note and a good number of sunny intervals
01:40coming through. Some cloud just lingering across the far south east of England and a
01:44few showers still possible here. But it's Northern Ireland where certainly you should
01:48make the most of the sunny intervals in the morning because the cloud is going to build
01:51into the afternoon as this rain begins to sweep in and the breeze begins to strengthen.
01:56So not quite feeling as pleasant in the afternoon here, but where you hold onto the sunshine
02:00across areas of England, Wales will still reach those highs of 12, 14 degrees Celsius.
02:05No, not quite as high as Saturday, but still feeling spring like nonetheless.
02:10South eastern areas of England will hold on to the drier and clearer skies as we move
02:15into the evening. But that rain is going to start pushing its way across areas of Scotland
02:18and northern England, actually turning wintry over the hills of Scotland as well. And that
02:23signals a change to some slightly more unsettled weather as we move into the start of the new
02:27working week. So further outbreaks of rain and showers at times for pretty much all of us as
02:33we move throughout Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday. Temperatures will generally be holding up in the
02:38mild theme, reaching double digit figures, but it will just turn a bit breezier as we
02:42move towards Wednesday and that will just take an edge off the feel of things. Otherwise, you can
02:47keep up to date with the full forecast for the forthcoming week by following us on all of our
02:51social media channels. And of course, we'll see you again here on the app, on the website
02:55and on YouTube very soon. Bye bye.
