00:00Hello there. Sunday is set to be another mild day for all of us, but exactly how it feels
00:06will vary across the country. We've seen some early sunny intervals across parts of England
00:10and Wales, certainly Cambridgeshire up into Lincolnshire and Yorkshire. Cloudier for Northern
00:15Ireland, southern areas of Scotland, wetter as you head further towards the north and
00:20this band of rain that has been pushing into northern areas of Scotland. That will continue
00:24to move eastwards as we move throughout the afternoon, could be heavy for a time as it
00:28moves across the Highlands and eventually into Orkney. The cloud remaining in place
00:32for Northern Ireland into Northern England, but Wales, parts of central, southeastern
00:36England will have some decent sunny intervals throughout the afternoon. And where we see
00:41that sunshine, temperatures will be responding, climbing to highs of 14, maybe even 15 degrees
00:47Celsius in some spots. Very mild for the time of year. It will still be mild across north
00:52and western areas as well underneath that cloud, but we're going to see the breeze really
00:56start to strengthen throughout the afternoon and continue to do so into the evening as
01:01well. Severe gales are possible for a time across northern Scotland, accompanied by 60,
01:0670 mile an hour gusts. This will move through with a band of rain gradually pushing its
01:11way southwards. Meanwhile, the cloud will build more widely now across Wales and southern
01:16areas of England. So by the time we get to the end of the night, all of us will really
01:20be underneath a blanket of cloud. Underneath that blanket, though, temperatures are going
01:25to hold up quite markedly. So again, it's going to be another frost free night for all
01:29of us. But where the cloud is particularly persistent for Northern Ireland, parts of
01:32southwest Scotland, some places here might hold up around 10, maybe even 11 degrees Celsius.
01:39So a mild start to the new working week and the band of rain is going to stall across
01:43parts of Scotland into Argyll and Bute, maybe around the Stirling area. So it could be a
01:47pretty damp and drizzly day here. To the north of that for the Northern Highlands into the
01:51Northern Isles, some sunny intervals coming through, but it's going to remain particularly
01:55gusty and with some gales for Shetland. Northern Ireland, England and Wales generally seeing
02:00a fairly cloudy day, some drizzle possible in places certainly across western areas.
02:05The further east you are, perhaps into Heritage, Shropshire and Northumberland, Durham and
02:11some spots of southeast England as well could see the odd break in that cloud. But the vast
02:16majority of us will generally see a grey day. Nevertheless, those winds are still coming
02:21up from a southwesterly direction. So that's going to start feeding in that mild air again,
02:2513, 14 degrees quite widely. Some places still pushing that 15, maybe locally 16 degrees
02:31as well. We hold on to the cloud as we move throughout Monday evening across Northern
02:37Ireland, England and Wales. The rain across Scotland just gradually shifting its way northwards
02:41now more into Lewis and Harris and into the Highlands as well. But again, underneath the
02:46cloud, it's not going to be a particularly chilly night by any means. It will remain
02:51quite mild on Tuesday as well, but it's the rain later on on Tuesday and into Wednesday
02:56that will start heralding a slight change in our weather. It will turn a bit brighter
03:00for a time showery, but temperatures will also be taking a bit more of a drop, not too
03:05cold, more towards average for the time of year. But we will also see the return of some
03:10slightly chillier nights as well. You can keep up to date with the full forecast for
03:15the coming week by following us on all of our social media channels. And we'll see you
03:18again here on the app, the website and on YouTube very soon. Bye bye.
