00:00Hi there, many of us have seen a fine start to Saturday with sunny spells, but we do just

00:06have to watch out for some scattered showers. The latest radar shows these coming through

00:11for areas of Northern Scotland and Northern Ireland, bringing a mixture of hail with some

00:16hill snow in there as well. And as we progress throughout the rest of Saturday, we'll just

00:20have to watch out for these cropping up a bit more in other locations, maybe particularly

00:25Yorkshire, Lincolnshire, Derbyshire and then filtering down into central areas of England

00:30and Wales as well. But still a decent amount of sunshine in between all of that for many

00:35and in that sunshine temperatures rising to highs of 13 degrees and feeling slightly more

00:40pleasant than Friday with the lighter winds, but just that bit colder further north where

00:45we've got the blustery conditions remaining. And those winds will continue to feed showers

00:49into Northern areas of Scotland through Saturday evening, whereas they'll tend to die down

00:53a bit more across other areas and underneath those clearing skies, it will turn rather

00:58cold and the potential for a frost to develop. So temperatures dropping quite widely to low

01:03single figures for towns and cities, the potential for rural spots though to get down to minus

01:09three to minus six degrees. So a cold start to Sunday morning for most people, but a bright

01:17one as well with a decent amount of sunshine to start off the day. The showers in the far

01:22north for Shetland and Orkney slowly dying out over the course of the day. And then we've

01:27just got to watch for the cloud building across Northern Ireland and into other areas of the

01:31far west ahead of some rain that wants to push in. But as it does so it's starting to

01:36bring our wind in from the south. And that means temperatures again on Sunday will be

01:41slightly higher with highs of 14 degrees in the south, just that bit colder still in the
