00:00Hello, it's been a fine start to Sunday for some of us with sunshine coming through, but
00:06further west, it's been rather cloudy and that cloud will continue to spread across
00:10the UK as we move into the afternoon, particularly for Northern Ireland, the cloud thick enough
00:15to produce some outbreaks of rain and then spilling into southwest Scotland. Turning
00:19breezier in the west here as well, though the winds coming up from the south, which
00:23means we'll see highs of 14, maybe even 15 degrees across southern areas of the UK. Up
00:29north, though, only highs of 5 degrees for Shetland as the air still coming down from
00:34the Arctic. That cloud then continuing to spread across the UK into Sunday evening,
00:40staying dry for most, but still some outbreaks of rain possible into the early hours of Monday
00:45morning further west. The widespread cloud, though, means that temperatures will be on
00:51the milder side compared to the night just gone, hovering around 6 degrees, but still
00:57the far north east of Scotland seeing a frost develop as we hold on to that colder air.
01:02So a mixed start to Monday morning. We'll see rain again pushing in from the southwest,
01:08some heavier bursts in here at times across Cornwall, then into Wales, Northern Ireland
01:12and again into Scotland later on. The driest conditions generally further south and east
01:17with some sunny spells. A windy day for all, particularly across exposed coastal locations,
01:24but highs reaching 18 degrees as we continue to build in that warmer air from the south.
01:31A similar picture as we move into Tuesday, the temperatures again climbing in the south,
01:37but staying unsettled with low pressure never too far away. To keep up to date with all
01:42of that and how things will progress into the rest of Easter week, make sure you're
01:47following us on social media and we'll see you again soon. Bye bye.
