00:00Hello there. The second half of the weekend is looking like a split picture with outbreaks
00:04of rain primarily in the east and the sunniest conditions further west. Back to tonight though
00:10and areas of East Scotland and England will remain rather cloudy with outbreaks of rain
00:15and hill snow at times. As a result there are yellow warnings in force with a snow warning
00:21for South East Scotland and a rain warning for higher areas of North East England so
00:26please do take extra care if you are planning on travelling on these routes tonight. Elsewhere
00:32overnight will be a mixture of clear spells and showers coming down on a brisk north westerly
00:38wind. The best of the clear intervals over central Scotland where temperatures will most
00:43likely fall below sub freezing and a frost to develop. Elsewhere in towns and cities
00:48hot temperatures holding up into the low single figures. Tomorrow's weather sees those outbreaks
00:53of rain in the east continuing and they could remain wintry at times for North East England
00:58and Eastern Scotland. Elsewhere early showers will slowly fade to leave bright spells and
01:04sunshine particularly for Northern Ireland but also far west of Scotland, Wales and down
01:09in the south west of England. Temperatures will remain around average for Sunday but
01:14it will still feel rather cold particularly in the south where that strong north westerly
01:19wind will continue their winds easing further north. Over the course of Sunday evening the
01:26rain in the east will continue to ease to leave a largely dry night for all and clear
01:30spells will allow frost to develop once again. But rain and cloud will begin to spread eastwards
01:37across Northern Ireland and that will be the future for the coming week with it remaining
01:42unsettled with strong winds at times. So please do keep up to date with the forecast.
