00:00Hi there. As we head into Easter week, many of us will be wanting some weather we can
00:06enjoy outside and it is going to be turning warmer. The bigger picture shows those orange
00:10colours spreading across the UK which is warmer air coming up from the south. There are several
00:16weather fronts around though, which means it's not always going to be completely dry
00:19and that is also partly the case for Sunday evening with outbreaks of rain spreading across
00:24Northern Ireland and then into South West Scotland. The winds also beginning to pick
00:29up in the west here as well. A generally drier theme across the rest of the UK, a lot
00:35of cloud around but some clearer spells for North East Scotland and it's here where we'll
00:40see temperatures drop the most with a frost developing elsewhere and much milder night
00:45than late, holding up around 6 degrees Celsius. So a cloudy start to Monday morning for most
00:51people and we'll see further rain spreading in from the south across Cornwall then into
00:57Wales and Northern Ireland later. Again, the winds beginning to pick up more widely
01:02across the UK so a breezy day for many but those winds coming up from the south which
01:07means they'll be bringing in that warmer air and we'll see highs around 17, even 18 degrees
01:13across southern areas. Just that bit cooler again across North East Scotland and also
01:18into North East England where we feed in the air from the North Sea. Monday evening sees
01:24that rain continuing to spread across Northern England and then into Scotland. Some heavier
01:28bursts at times in here as well, otherwise staying drier further south. Into the rest
01:33of Easter week there will be a mixture of wetter and drier periods but feeling rather
01:38warm thanks to that air coming in from the south but with that warmer air also comes
01:43the risk of rising pollen levels so we just have to watch out for high levels of tree
01:47pollen in particular. To keep up to date with all of that, make sure you're following us
01:52on social media and we'll see you again here shortly. Bye bye!
