Transcript
00:00Hello. On Tuesday there will be bright spells and scattered showers, but late in the day
00:05there will be a change in the weather with some rain for north-western areas. This is
00:09down to an Atlantic frontal system which moves across northern parts of the UK later on Tuesday
00:14and during Wednesday, bringing some rain and breezier conditions as it does so.
00:19Coming back to Monday evening, it's cloudy for many of us with a few showers in places.
00:24Some of those showers will continue throughout the night, but they will tend to become lighter.
00:29Some clear spells are likely in the south-west where we could see some fog forming by morning.
00:34It will turn cold over parts of northern Scotland and there could be a touch of frost here where
00:38there are any cloud breaks, but it will be milder elsewhere with lows generally in mid
00:43to high single figures.
00:45Tuesday starts on a fairly cloudy note with some showery outbreaks of light rain in places.
00:51Any early fog in the south-west will quickly lift with some sunny spells developing, but
00:56these will trigger some scattered showers for the afternoon. It will be cool in northern
01:00and eastern areas, but where there is some sunshine, especially in the south and west,
01:05temperatures should peak at around 18C.
01:08On Tuesday evening the showers will begin to fade away with much of England and Wales
01:12becoming dry, but at the same time outbreaks of rain will spread into northern Ireland
01:18and western parts of Scotland.
01:20Looking ahead to Wednesday, any early rain in the north will clear, then all parts will
01:25have a mixture of bright or sunny spells and scattered showers.
01:30That's all from me for now. Remember you can always stay up to date with the latest by
