00:00Hello there. Welcome to your weather update from the Met Office.
00:04Settled into the weekend with some chilly mornings and warm afternoons.
00:09Through Tuesday evening, starry skies for most.
00:12One or two showers lurking across the Midlands towards northern England.
00:15The exception rather than the rule.
00:17Rather hazy across eastern counties as well.
00:20And across the far north-west of Scotland, the Outer Hebrides.
00:22One or two showers just clipping these parts.
00:24A bit of a breeze here.
00:26Inland though, we'll see lighter breezes.
00:29And you can see that fog just forming across northern England, even the Midlands.
00:33It's going to be a bit of a chilly night.
00:35Temperatures dipping down to around 2 to 4 Celsius.
00:37But even sub-zero across some glens of Scotland.
00:40And certainly a chilly start to the day here away from the west coast of Scotland.
00:43Where temperatures will hold up with that breeze.
00:45But lots of blue sky extending from Shetland right the way down the country.
00:49We may run into some mist and fog even across northern Ireland for a time.
00:53And some patches extend down towards the north Midlands.
00:56But generally speaking, it's blue sky.
00:58It's a crisp morning. It's a chilly one.
01:00But also bright with sunny spells.
01:03So not a lot of change as we head through the day.
01:05Again, we could see one or two isolated showers through the morning and into the afternoon.
01:10But you can see here most places getting away with that dry and that bright weather.
01:15That blue sky.
01:17Now through the afternoon, sea breezes are likely to develop along the coast.
01:21So could turn a bit fresher here.
01:23Elsewhere, well, it's going to be a warm day.
01:26UV levels are going to be moderate as temperatures rise too.
01:29For the Moray Firth coming in at 19.
01:31And 19 further south and east across England and Wales.
01:35So a warm afternoon to come.
01:37So that's the picture come Wednesday.
01:40Here's your broader picture through the next few days.
01:43High pressure firmly centred across the UK.
01:46Notice towards the far north though.
01:48That's a weak weather front delivering a bit more cloud to the far north and northwest of Scotland.
01:52Even a little rain from time to time.
01:54But it doesn't really amount to very much.
01:56And most places, even across Scotland, will stay dry and bright.
02:00So here's your cities list for Thursday.
02:03Notice temperatures are notched down on Wednesday.
02:06Even so, it's a warm afternoon yet again.
02:09And here's your outlook through Friday and into the weekend.
02:13Yes, still the chance of some mist and fog and patchy frost first thing on Friday.
02:17As well as Saturday.
02:19But fine and dry with some lovely sunshine.
02:21So enjoy it and I'll see you again soon.
02:24.
