00:00Hello. Most of us have seen some rain so far this weekend, and whilst Bank Holiday Monday
00:05should be dry for many of us, it's not going to be dry for everyone.
00:09And the latest satellite and radar imagery shows cloudy skies for much of the UK, with
00:14some showery outbreaks moving across the south-west and a few light showers elsewhere.
00:20The Monday afternoon will be a mix of brief bright or sunny spells and a scattering of
00:24showers, with some of the driest conditions over northern Scotland.
00:27It will feel cool where it stays cloudy along some North Sea coasts, but where the sun does
00:32break through elsewhere, we could see maximum temperatures of around 17 Celsius.
00:37Now those showers will continue in places this evening and overnight, although they
00:41will tend to become lighter as the night goes on.
00:45Some clear spells are possible in the south-west, and we could see some fog forming here by
00:49morning, turning chilly across northern Scotland, and there could be a touch of frost here where
00:54there are any cloud breaks, but it will be milder elsewhere, with lows generally in
00:59mid to high single figures.
01:02Tuesday then starts on a fairly cloudy note, with some showery outbreaks in places. Early
01:07fog in the south-west will soon lift away with some sunny spells, but these will trigger
01:12some scattered showers for the afternoon.
01:15It will be cool in northern and eastern areas, but where there is some sunshine in the south
01:20and west, temperatures will peak at around 18 Celsius.
01:25That's all from me for now, and remember you can always stay up to date with the latest
