00:00Hello, and welcome to your latest forecast from here at the Met Office.
00:04After a rather stormy night in the south-east last night, today will be a much calmer weather day.
00:09That's all due to this area of high pressure building in from the west.
00:12But with fronts lingering out towards the north-west of the UK, there will always be a little more cloud and the risk of some rain here.
00:19So through the rest of Sunday, a generally dry day with some sunny spells around, showers across Northern Ireland and Scotland.
00:26But where that cloud does break, we will see temperatures reaching the high teens or low twenties.
00:31As we go through into this evening, we will see some showery outbreaks of rain pushing across southern and south-western parts of England.
00:38But these will clear away through the second half of the night.
00:41Elsewhere, though, is a dry night with plenty of clear skies.
00:44And with clear skies and light winds, it will turn quite chilly with a touch of frost possible across parts of Scotland.
00:50So Monday starts off on a dry and bright note, and the remainder of the day continues in the same vein.
00:55Lots of sunshine on offer, although we will see some cloud and a little rain pushing into the far north-west of Scotland later in the day.
01:02But in that sunshine, temperatures again reaching the low twenties Celsius.
01:06Now, this weather pattern continues as we head through into the middle of the week.
01:10Mostly dry, but always with a little more cloud up towards the north-west and temperatures building day on day.
01:16We could see temperatures up again in the mid to high twenties by the middle of the week.
01:20If you want to know more about what's going to happen over the next few days, keep in touch with the Met Office through our social media channels, and I'll speak to you again soon.
